  1. I''ll be making the transition to a boot SSD soon and started to think about revamping my backup solution. Since I'm on a budget I can't afford a NAS and stick to a couple external HDDs. Up until now I've taken the lazy way out and used the backup program built into W7 which (AFAIK) saves disk images, but my HDDs seem to be filling up fast and there isn't a simple way to see individual files that are backed up. Besides not having a bootable disk image and having to re-install all the programs in the event of a disk failure, are there any disadvantages to mirroring the Users folder on an external HDD? Which backup strategies do you prefer, and why?
  2. That's pretty bad! Not to diminish the suck-factor of your accident, but a head-on collision between two cars, each going 80kph, is equivalent to an 80kph collision with a solid wall, not 160kph.
  3. My current build is in a Z9+. Just measured and there's about 3/4" space between the back of the tray and the side panel. It's not a whole lot of space but very workable (with many zip-tie loops) and a lot more than some cases I've seen. It also helps that, while the tray is solid, there aren't any obnoxiously thick structural "dents" that stick out meaning you can run cables basically along the entire back surface area.
