Ninety1Nine got a reaction from TeamTactical in Independent X / Y sensitivity, help please?
Sometimes they include this in the config file. In most games this is a "user.ini" or "user.cfg" file. Start looking for that (should be able to open in notepad) and then do a search for sensitivity (this part might take a while).

However, while looking for it myself, I found that there are multiple config files that you will have to edit. This is due to cloud saving and the such.

This forum post here should help with that: http://steamcommunity.com/app/43110/discussions/0/846958223060476459/

Really the only time you would notice a lower latency (125Mhz or 8ms) would be if you put everything on the highest latency setting.
Just putting one thing on its slowest setting wouldn't be noticeable.

There really isn't a benefit to change it except in a rare situtation. If the rest of your system has a higher latency and you want to try to cut down where you can.

Good idea, but for people that don't want to void their warranty.

I have an old system with an AMD Athlon @1.1GHz that gets a max of 35 PPD.
A celeron 2.8 that gets about 40-70 PPD.
Then I have two P4s @3.2 that get between 200-350 PPD.
It isn't much, but I've only just started and I'm looking to make a machine that gets more like 5k PPD (going to college soon and don't have much money to spend.)
Occaisionally I run my main rig that gets more like 25k PPD, but I have to use it for other things so I can't run folding all the time on it.

Ninety1Nine got a reaction from rashdanml in What is the best free program for recording games?
I would suggest using MSI Afterburner and recording to a sperate drive from the game/OS. It is fairly simple to set up and it can also serve as a GPU monitor. I don't see any frame drop on my 660ti PE with VSync turned on (60hz monitor, Tested on PlanetSide 2). I have tested recording at 30 fps-1080p and played for over an hour without any hiccups or crashes and going through multiple zones of high and low GPU demand.

Exception: Around very large groups of players (100+) and large bases my framerate drops to about 40-50, but that happens even when I am not recording.

When Shadowplay is released I would deffinately look into using that.

It is possible to change the compression. Yes there is an uncompressed recording option, but there is also various built in compression codecs that record as .avi files.
