Hello everyone , My hdd randomly hangs up/freezes , this is the third one , the previous 2 one also acted the same way (randomly hanging up) and eventually dying , I assumed that it was the hdd fault since they were kinda old but on the third one which I bought and tested it myself with hdd sentinel and everything was 100% fine , also started to hang up . The most likely cause is the psu which gives low voltage on the 3.3v and 5v rail , in bios at least . The hdd uses the 5v rail which is more than 4.5v , enough to at least start up , the 12v rail is fine . The psu has a slightly swollen cap , but as far my knowledge goes that should cause overvoltage . I remember trying with another psu and still hanging up . I also sometimes get DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION bsod . The hdd is clearly having problems but that might be just the symptom and the psu is the real problem . I'm planning on buying a new psu but I fear I might buy a new hdd too and I don't quite afford that right now . HDD sentinel was giving 100% ok when first tested but then it started saying it has 65535 bad sectors but on a surface test there were none to be found . I have changed the cables and stuff and I assure you the problem is within the hdd or psu because everything else was changed . The hdd is not new anymore , I didn't bother buying a new one because it doesn't always act up but when it does , it does for a period . Smart readings I tried to show speedfan voltages but I don't know which represents which , one good voltage check soft will be appreciated (no multimeter) Who am I supposed to believe ?

It depends on your age and your taste . I started seriously watching anime when I was about 12 - 13 (even though before I was watching some anime on TV I just didn't knew what "anime" was back then ) with Naruto , I liked it when it was on Tv then some classmates recommended me to watch it on the internet . And so I started with anime like Naruto , Naruto Shippuden , Bleach , Fairy tail , D.Gray-Man , FMA , FMA:B , Gintama , One Piece , Sket Dance , HxH , Bakuman , Ao no exorcist . All of them are pretty easy to comprehend . FMA:B(action/adventure/really nice plot) and Gintama (comedy/funny dirty jokes) are exceptionally good . ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Omega or Extreme , it doesn't really matter when you have an old card . But Extreme still seems a better choice if you have the resources .

Scan the drive (surface scan and self scan ) most likely faulty hdd . Also , check the voltages in bios .

You didn't say what motherboard you use . If it has NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset give it a try , also run sfc and do updates . Yeah nvm , I always rush . . Edit : Ok , so your motherboard uses Intel chipset , if updates and sfc scan fail you might give that fix a try .

Ok , every dump file point to the same direction : driver . What drivers did you install , did you install some beta ones ? I want you to do the following : 1. Get new copy of windows (another version beside the one you use now ) and do a clean install . 2. Don't install any driver . Keep it like that and do whatever you did before , if no bsod occurs try installing a non-beta graphic driver and no other driver . To be more sure don't use any graphic card , just the APU .

The 3.7 ghz cap you're referring to is a way to tell which cpu are compatible (non-oc) with the motherboard , the 7850 is fully compatible with the motherboard and can be oc as much as you want . If you get any new bsod please post dump and bugcheck .

98% virus , 97% possibility you can't access any antivirus website . Solution : Get from another pc with a usb drive an antivirus like Malwarebytes or http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/free.html or just reinstall windows.

Help: PC shuts down and turns back on by itself
Uranus replied to Jijix05's topic in Troubleshooting
That was the first thing I thought of before noticing the beep . Overloaded ? Less likely , he used it before with the same parts , why now ? Faulty ? Now we're getting at it .. I you could have a spare psu / borrow one and try it it would be perfect . -
Just remove the bios battery and put it back .

Can you get into boot options so you can go in safe mode ? Quicker fix : Save yourself time and just re install it , you can't really do much , next time use *cough*removewat*cough*
