  1. I have a similar setup with my Desktop with an i7 and gtx 980 with Windows 10 GB ram. My Laptop has an i3 2328m cpu with HD graphics and Windows 7. The laptop when using ethernet works perfectly with minimal audio delay (it does eventually catch up just disconnect and recoonect). This works for me but keep in mind I tried Ubuntu, Windows 8 and Windows 10 but they all caused things like tearing in videos and bad animations but Windows 7 works perfectly.
  2. Yeah I tried that and then realized, I just learnt java, android uses java, I can write a program that can generate a password based on username and a password. The idea was so long as I enter the same info on each field I get the same password I have a different password for every account I only remember 4 (personal, education, outlook, work login) It does not store anything on the computer. passwords were hard to remember and looks like gibberish It works really well except when it runs into places like outlook where you can have special characters but not certain ones. In the end it is up to you on what you use because passwords if not by breaking the manager then it could be broken by key logger and any human point in the security. watch the video in the article
  3. I had my own way of using the url(getting numbers and symbols) and mixing it with a pre-determined password. Eventually I got tired and mad my own Password Calculator(calculates the same password without storing anything hopefully). So far it works, I use only 5 passwords in it and I only enter 2 fields account and key. for example for linustechtips if i use the password steve and want a 20 character password I get 1k/]3?mp"Wq{C!s-zdS5. The only problem with it is that sites such as outlook do not allow certain special character, so I need to eventually improve it.
  4. this will be perfect for steam in home streaming. I've already got an ethernet cable running to the living room as a plan.
  5. Make a pc and getting the cpu will save me money ($512 NZD) so I can give it to other things in the build.
  6. Excellent Linus and the tech tips group. I found your channel by looking for a build guide to replace my dead laptop for gaming.
