  1. Any other comments or recommendations? Thanks again.
  2. Thanks for the quick replies guys. Yeah, I plan on reusing my HDD from my other PC. Not much experience with Win 8.1. I'm just more used to Win 7.
  3. Hello everyone, I'm planning on building my first PC. I've done a lot research and decided to make my first build utilizing a Mini ITX form factor due to my limited desktop space. I was hoping someone could help me by looking over the parts I've selected thus far and provide their comments and/or recommendations. The following are the criteria and parts that I've chosen so far. Budget & Location: My budget is $1200 US. I live in Hawaii so no MicroCenters or any good PC parts stores nearby unfortunately. After doing some research on PCPartPicker, my current parts list is as follows. CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Vortex Plus 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard - ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory - Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Video Card - EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked Case - Corsair 250D Mini ITX Tower Case (p.s. I love this case! Non-negotiable) Power Supply - Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Case Fans - Corsair AF120 x2 @ 39.9 cfm each (side intake), AF140 x1 @ 67.8 cfm (front intake), Arctic Cooler F8 80mm x2 @ 31 cfm each (rear exhaust) Aim: The primary use for this PC will be playing current and next-gen video games (Assassins Creed, Skyrim, SWTOR, Dragon Age Inquisition). I'm not planning on doing any excessive CPU overclocking. Can I get away with just using the stock CPU fan? Monitors: Due to my limited desktop space, I only plan on using a single AOC 23" 1920x1080 monitor. Peripherals: I plan on reusing my current equipment (Razer keyboard, Razer Naga, Razer headphones, AOC 23" monitor). Reason for Upgrading: I currently own a pre-built "gaming" PC that is over 2-years old. I've always been curious about building my own PC and have done a lot of research recently and I think that I'm finally ready to get into it. Please let me know if there are any comments or recommendations regarding my parts list. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
