  2. Alright so my mom cracked the screen on her phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 16gb) and took it in to a repair shop. After refusing to give it back to her without the original receipt, we finally got it and it worked fine. A few days ago my mom dropped it, and the screen went black, just turned off. The phone still works though, turns on and off etc. and when you turn it on the top quarter of the screen flashes for a second. My main question is. Does it sound like the screen needs to be replaced again, or has something just rattled loose? When I took the battery cover off there was a screw missing, so I'm assuming that the repair shop put it together carelessly and something has come undone inside, but I'd like you're guys' opinion before I got digging around in it with practically zero experience with phones.

  4. No legal marriage, but a partner for sure. I'd have kids when I'm done partying and have a good environment for them (I.E. reliable income, own a house 100% no mortgage etc.)
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if your motherboard was dead. Biostar is known to be trash Did you disperse the power and ground yourself before touching anything?

  10. (sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, I figured it sort of is build planning) Alright so I've got my current system (a8 5600k, MSI A88X-G43, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz, CM Hyper T4, XFX 280x, CX-600w, 1tb storage, 240gb SSDNow, Corsair 780t) and my secondary system (Acer business class lga 775 mobo, Pentium R E5800, 4gb DDR3, XFX 5770 1gb (DEAD), 520w dynex PSU, 320gb WD Blue, FTC Aurora case) I want to sell my CPU, motherboard, RAM, and cooler in my main system, so I was thinking about combining the two of them in to this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jTskMp The CPU, motherboard, RAM, and cooler are all about a year old, but have not been overclocked, overheated or anything like that. Now the question is, what is it worth? (Canada)

  20. Alright, so I've got an HP Dv7 2170us laptop here with a 500GB 2.5" Seagate SSHD hard drive in it. Basically, I was re-installing Windows 7, everything was going well, so I got watch some TV while it loads, I come to check up on it and it was hanging at the splash screen while attempting to restart. I tried to enter the BIOS, nothing. So I try restarting, same thing. I threw the HDD in my PC and it worked just fine, continued to setup Windows and booted up. I tried replacing the CMOS battery and checked the RAM, none seem to be the problem. Something to note, when I attempt to enter the BIOS by holding or tapping the key (esc) it makes a solid beep until I restart/shut down. Should I just try to flash the BIOS?
