  1. I figure it's the mb. I'm already ordering a replacement from Amazon. Warning when ordering bulk components through Amazon: my components arrived in one big box with no padding. They were all just rattling around in the box that was larger than all the components inside so they had room to knock around. I took a picture of the inside of the box once I opened it cuz I had a sick feeling that it was going to cause problems. Amazon is being chill though and the replacement will be here Monday. Thanks for the help.
  2. Correct. Nothing. That's why I thought it was the PSU case closed. But the paper clip jump has shown me it might be the mobo.
  3. Here's a picture. The fio connectors are unplugged cuz I was trying to jump.
  4. Dead and silent. Which made me think it was PSU, but like I said, I am able to get the PSU fan to spin when jumping it outside the case.
  5. New build for my brother. Ryzen 5 2600 X470 auros ultra gaming Mobo Team vulcan 2400 ddr4 (black/grey) 16gb 2x8 Stock cooler Evga 1060 6gb single fan 240gb Kingston ssd 1tb wd blue hdd Evga 600BQ semi modular psu Not my first build. Been building since 2012. I jump tested the psu outside the case and it seems to run just fine. When I plug it into the mobo and flip the I/O switch, the mobo's auros logo led flashes red one time and then nada. Have double and triple checked pin header connections and tried to jump the mobo with a screwdriver but all I have is one with a detachable tip and idk if that works. Please help me figure this out. It's for my brother's birthday. I'm thinking it's a bad mobo, but if I'm missing something else I'd like to know. I tried booting after unplugging the GPU as well to no avail. Thank you for your responses.
  6. Looking for suggestions for a Chromebook for my wife and I. We have one laptop, so I'd like to have a second one to use for browsing on the couch and productivity. I would prefer a 2in1 for easy movie watching in bed while my wife is sleeping. What's the best value to performance Chromebook on the market? So far what had caught my attention are the Lenovo 300e and 500e. They seem to be durable, powerful, and affordable. I'm not super concerned with getting a super premium finish. Mainly looking for performance per dollar. We both use pixel 2 phones so that integration is part of the reason we are looking to a Chromebook for a secondary device. Our budget really tops out at 300-320 usd. I know that's not alot and I would never consider buying a Windows machine for that price point, but there seems to he a lot of value in that pricepoint for Chromebooks. Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
  7. Me too. I think it has to feel good to know that you made that kind of difference in someone's life.
  8. I'm meeting with an oncology urologist guy next week and he's going to give me a full run-down. But its pretty certain that they are gonna remove my righty.
  9. I had a noticeably hard bump on mine. A couple actually. About the size of a Linus Thermal Paste job.
  10. So 2 months ago when I watched the blue balls sponsored iphone video, I started the process of getting my right nut checked out as I had felt some lumpiness on it recently. Today, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and if it wasn't for this channel and being informed that even someone my age (21) can be victim of testicular cancer, I don't know how long I would have put off the lump. Thank you for all you do and for helping me catch this early. Really, Thank you so much. Lukas. Video I'm referring to: Get checked guys. Don't ignore a bump on your nut.
  11. Hello friends, I'm working with a friend of mine to make a collaboration video. We don't live near each other so we are going to record our conversations live. He will record his desktop and audio and I will do the same. He will then zip his audio/video into a compressed folder and send it to me through the fastest means possible where I will edit and upload the video. However, when we are recording audio, I don't want him to be able to hear my voice in his recording and vice versa, because I want to put in the HD voice recordings that we have done ourselves. I hope this makes sense. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. I think I might be able to do this by changing the default device and default communications device to two different things so they are playing on different channels. But I'm not sure. TL;DR Need my friend's voice from skype to not show up in recording, but desktop audio needs to be there.
  12. yeah.. I just wish I knew how these channels do it where I know they live 3 hours apart but they work on a series together and have a new episode every 2 days. I need to know how they share their raw footge and audio.
  13. yeah, if you look in my post, i said that was the best thing I had seen so far.
  14. Sounds to me like it has to do with the USB port you're using. If I may guess, your headset is plugged into the front panel I/O? My suggestion would be to try and run the USB of your headset to the back of the PC. That is the only thing I can think of outside of buying a more decent headset.
  15. Hello Friends, I am looking to do a youtube collab with a friend of mine but I want it to look as good as possible. This means that I will be having him record his audio and video natively on his Mac, and then sharing it to me on my PC somehow so that I can edit the footage. He lives almost an hour away so it is preferable to find a way of doing this over network as we plan on making multiple videos and that many trips is just not realistic for me. Dropbox and google drive and such seem to be suuuuper slow for this kind of thing and have limits on the size of file you're uploading depending on the circumstance. The best thing I have found so far would be Bittorrent Sync. Which is a P2P file syncing option. (Basically dropbox without having to upload it to a cloud server first.) Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments. I hope to hear from you soon.
