  1. Anker gaming mouse and dell keyboard
  2. An i5 6600k is more expensive than the current motherboard and cpu combined. Old xeon are really cheap so that is the reasoning behind the choice.
  3. Any suggestions for this build? CPU: Intel® Xeon® Processor X5677 Heat sink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Motherboard: Intel DX58SO LGA 1366 RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 GPU: Nvidia 1070 PSU: EVGA 110-B2-0850-V1 80 PLUS Bronze 850 W Storage: Seagate Desktop HDD 2TB
  4. I settled on two E5620s and it works flawlessly with a GT 720 as the unraid gpu and a Radeon 6670 as the windows vm. I just need to find another old GPU to see how two windows versions at the same time will perform with the 850 W power supply that is in there.
  5. What would be a good processor(s) for hosting three VM's?
  6. Would three VM's out of one Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3 GHz hurt the performance too much?
  7. Would two Intel® Xeon® Processors E5649 @ 2.53 GHz in the HP Z800 Xeon Motherboard be good at running three virtual machines for gaming? I've seen some posts about overclocking them to 3 GHz, but would this old processor be good enough or is it just too slow? Any feedback would be helpful, Thanks
