Yeah i once got a 512 for about 110 - really good deal there.
Although even if you are an enthusiast to put 2 of these in RAID and stick it into a secondary system is a great deal and IMHO a great idea (that's what I'm doing)

This is a recertified 128gb ssd from crucial. It may not be the fastest, but boy is it cheap. At 30$ USD I think I'm going to get 5 of them.....
Yup atto is the way to go. here is a pic of two of the original v300s running in RAID 0
EDIT: this is after quite a bit of use and they're about 3/4 filled
I can vouch for this I in fact have 4 v300s
2 are from before the unannounced NAND switch and 2 are from after and holy shit what a difference. Like saturating a 6gb/s lane to being around 300 mB/s really a shame they were so cheap and I liked them so much... oh well.
^precisely. Well i just played around some with it and i made it so that when there is a significant load the fans start kicking but when its light or basically no load at all it stays silent :)
