  1. Thank you very much I think I would have to go for a Intel CPU then!
  2. As much as I would like to go on treasure hunting I don't have the time between work and school, so is not an option.
  3. Sounds good! is the 8 core still good enough for gaming thought?
  4. I'm in Costa Rica and yes the $600 are only for Motherboard CPU Ram and Hard drives
  5. Is time to me to upgrade! on a budget, ok I'm going to keep this a short as possible. Ok my needs I'm attemptin to be a graphic designer and a memebr of adobe creative cloud so I use Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and After Effects quite heavily so a lot of cores would be nice, but I will like to enjoy some gaming too (WarThunder, Arma III, H1Z1 ect..,). Budget: $600 NOTE: I can't take advantage of rebates (I'm outside of the US) Things I have: Periferals (Mouse & Keyboard) Monitor PC Case (Standard ATX Mortheboard Size) A Graphics Card (EVGA GT 740 FTW) I know is not the best but is what I got. EVGA 430W 80Plus Power Supply Things I need: Motherboard CPU 8GB Memory RAM (can be more as long as it is within the budget) Hard Drive (SSD+HDD combo or Hibird would be nice) Note: The FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition is what I have in mind for the CPU but I want to see what you guys think. Sorry for the bad English
  6. The thing is that I have read that there is a lot of PCI 1.1 compatibility problems with the R7 250x. And some websites can't even decide if the r7 250x need a 6 pin power connector some say it doesn't needs it others say that it needs it, sometimes I think they do all that just to confuse people...
  7. According with my MOBO user Manual it can Only support 4GB of DDR @ Ram so I'm buying just that
  8. CPU is a bottle neck I know that's why I'm trying to see what can I get for this system without bottle-necking the hell out it... my budget for the card is $100
  9. The R7 250x is what people recommended for my system in my previous post. At first I was going with the EVGA GeForce GT 740 Superclocked but then they said than R7 250x would perform better at the same price point. I'm not in the U.S or Canada, so we can say there is no card available locally I'm in Costa Rica at the moment.
  10. Ok I hope it does because I'm going to import this card and It would be a world to try to return it...
  11. Hello everyone today I come to you with some questions regarding PCI Express backwards compatibility. First my system: Generic 430 Watt Power Supply. Something I have to clarify is that the Ram Upgrade is already under way. Now to the actual question, I want to buy the R7 250x for my system but according with my MOBO user manual my PCI Express x 16 slot is version 1.1 and all I can read about this card is how awesome the low power consumption is on thins card thanks to PCI Express x16 3.0 support, naturally I have to ask myself if this card would work with and old 1.1 PCI express slot. And if this card is simply not compatible with my MOBO what card would you guys recommend for my system that is compatible with my PCI Express 1.1 slot? Thanks in advance.
  12. it gave me the same to me too. ok so it is decided I'm going to put and extra stick of ram swap my father's power supply (Cheaper than buying one) and buy a r7 250 hopefully I would get about 30 at 720p normal to high setting in this thing!
  13. is not the one from the link, I make a call and my father have a rig that he only use for web browsing and he said that the PSU was 430 watt one I would have to go and check tomorrow to get more info on the PSU itself,
