This rerelease doesn't steal anyone's money, or force people to buy it, its optional for those who want to rebuy, or gasp, never played in the first place

If its 60 FPS ill probably buy it when it drops in price, i already have it for PS3

I have a P248Q its great

Again Oculus uses one big 1080/800/xxxx resolution display, you don't need 60hz per eye beacause both eyes look at the same screen
 
and again, 1080 60hz is not difficult, its just a matter of choosing the detail level you want to render, you should all know this, you probably game on pc.
 
PS4 could render 4K 60hz if they set up the game for it, just as easily as my computer could.

Believe it or not, some devs look at the hardware and prefer a more detailed image over 60hz
no screenies but: Infamous Second Son,The Order: 1886, Ryse and several others

Thats the dev's not EA, they come from the COD background, except its not a piece of junk like Cod. Titanfall is the only competitive FPS that i have any interest in playing. Heck, its the only Online game i want to play.

The point is games don't need high res textures and uber settings to be fun

Release some 720 30 games that kick ass, there is nothing stopping them from continuing with that as long as they still have a huge fan base (160 odd million consoles). Hell, id prefer sub 720 if it meant 60 fps
 
the big thing for me is im in first year university and plenty of people here are saying why would i get a new console when they are going to keep making games for 4 years.
 
Im not sure how to react to that, my family is getting a PS4 for christmas, if mainly for MGSV and whatever else naughty dog and David Cage make in the future, and i have my sigrig, but ive owned every other Sony console, a 360, NES, N64, there is an atari in my attic, and im sure ive forgotten one or two

Everyone here in their hate fest seems to forget it was doing 95c with furmark and prime, not real world stuff unless your profession is making cooling systems cry. Luxmark and x264 bench on the other hand had GPU 70c and CPU 85c with no throttling.

I would have to to disagree with you there. I very much like my fx8150. I know it's not better than Intels CPU's but with that being said it is not a shitty processor.

pclab.pl's results contradict what the other reviewers are showing.
 

Here the 770 & 760 perform within margin of error, probably due to a driver anomaly.
Even In Tom's results the 270X was faster than the 760 in minimum frame rates.


280X is smoother than both the 770 and 760 and has the least variance in Skyrim.

The weird part is its quad data rate, its GDDR5 so its 5.5 2.75 or 1.375
The Xbone is 2133 DDR3 iirc
