Or if you need to host anything Microsoft related, like SharePoint for example or .Net Web Applications. IIS isn't as bad as it used to be but it's totally impractical to use it to host 95%+ of the websites on the public internet due to Microsoft licensing.
I don't mind if people hate on IIS as long as it is for the correct reasons, heck I'll even join in

If you're running a Windows Server, and have just a small local intranet webpage/site, why bother with Apache? Just one more unnecessary component in the system. Certainly, Apache is the industry standard when it comes to an actual site, but if you're just putting up a quick simple page, IIS is totally acceptable.

be more organised and close your tabs
add them to bookmarks if you need
also you can get 8GB of ram for really cheap, you should consider upgrading

@Enderman is correct, if you choose to run Chrome, you've got to accept the way it handle's memory utilization.
There are other browsers that use less ram with lots of tabs in the background, but they'll just refresh the page everytime you open it.
The simplest way is to close the tabs you're not using, or get more ram

<head> can be ommitted in specific circumstances in HTML5 which was specified in the doc type:
<!DOCTYPE html> A head element's start tag may be omitted if the element is empty, or if the first thing inside the head element is an element. A head element's end tag may be omitted if the head element is not immediately followed by a space character or a comment. His code snipped met the requirement "is empty" as there were no tags in the head.

As far as i am concerned, it was a really nice and cozy place the first few months.
But even then there were exceptions, just not as many. That being said! it's still
a great place as long as you hang out in the right sections, which its bound to
come down to when traffic has increased this much. I don't have solid proof on
this, but i am willing to bet money this applies to the majority of big sites..
You see posts like this every now and then, they don't help anyone.. Complaining
doesn't make a difference, it just makes everything seem shitty. Be the good person
you want others to be, reinforce a good attitude and hope it spreads. It sounds silly,
but not much else you can realistically do.
As for the youtube channel, well.. that is for LMG to address, but i do agree advertising
can be excessive at times, and honestly. Waiting a month for like an hour of footage
is honestly silly and degrades the overall experience.

To be honest Ubuntu's unity layout is pretty trash. If you're looking for Ubuntu with a more familiar Windows feel, go with Mint with a cinnamon desktop environment.
