  1. Pdustin101 my components are: I7 4790k CPU GTX970 strix GPU Gigabyte z97 gaming 7 MoBo Corsair vengeance pro 2*4 gb Ram Corsair vengeance c70 case Corsair h110i gt cooler Corsair RM750 psu Samsung evo 120 GB SSD WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive Samsung optical drive Think that's it
  2. I currently have an i7 4790k and a single gtx 970 strix. I power this with a corsair RM750 PSU. If I were to add another gtx 970 strix and run in SLI would I have enough power. Any more information please ask. Thanks for your help. P101
  3. Thanks for the feed back, ive just ordered one
  4. Hello, I am using an i7 4790k with a stock cooler. I was rendering a video in premier pro (first time with this cpu) and I was using real temp gt and my temperature hit 100 degrees C on one of the cores. Real temp Gt jump from about 85 to 90+ to 85 then 90+ etc. I was wondering if it was accurate (I have done a sensor test) it goes down to 20-30 degrees C fairly quickly (under 5 minutes) so I wonder if it is accurate and if anybody could recommend a more accurate temperature monitor it would be very helpful (thank you). I will have to get a cooler but I am wondering if I have done any damage to my Cpu, I cancelled rendering straight away on both attempts; I only reached 2% both times before it was too hot . Any suggestions on coolers, have a small budget of around 40 pounds (I need to buy isopropyl alcohol aswell) Thanks for your help. Predator 101!
  5. Is a DAC connected to pc via usb? What DAC would you recommend for around £1000 (I can Stretch the budget)!
  6. I have a good audio setup already but I wanted to get higher quality audio from my computer, with an external DAC the quality coming from my PC wont be any different will it? I'm not totally sure and I do have a budget of £800
  7. I won't be connecting my headphones straight to the sound card but into a separate amplifier. I am currently using a pair of sennheiser HD650s.
  8. Hello, Price doesn't matter, power consumption also doesn't matter. I would like a high end (audiophile quality) soundcard for better audio quality, I would not like a soundcard for gaming and I don't require 7.1 surround sound. I'm planning on connecting it to my amplifier via phono connecters preferably. The motherboard I have (encase of any compatibility problems) is a gigabyte z97x gaming 7. Thanks in advanced, Predator101
  9. Thanks for the feed back, ill stick with the integrated graphics for now because i don't want to waste my money. Thanks again, Predator101
  10. I have recently ordered a pc which would be used for gaming and video editing however with only a fixed budget I choose a better CPU and didn't buy a separate GPU for now. Build: i7 4790k Gigabyte z97x gaming 7 Corsair vengeance pro1833mhz cl9 (2*4GB) Corsair vengeance c70 case corsair RM 750 watt Samsung evo 120GB WD blue 1TB Samsung disk drive Windows 8.1 I am planning on getting a GTX 970 STRIX around June time. Is it worth getting a cheap GPU for now such as an r7 250 or gt 630 or will I cope with intergrated graphics for now? Thanks in advanced for the feed back!
  11. Thanks for all of your feedback, i've decided to get the z97 version of that board after seeing these posts and doing a bit of research, the z97 is better for me. The stock CPU cooler I may replace as I don't want my CPU to overheat but I'm not planning on overclocking, I may eventually but probably not, however with the z97 the option is there so really should I stay with the stock cooler, some are saying there not good but if I can cope with stock cooler for now then possibly get an H100i later that will be fine or should I purchase an air cooler such as the cooler master hyper 212 evo? The case I will be getting will be something such as the corsair air 540 so I could put some extra fans in it instead however I may get a bigger case for longer gpu's Id prefer window, I have a budget of around £100 for a case, any suggestions?! Also im gonna get 16gb later on as I would be using this pc to also do a lot of video editing as well as gaming but at the moment I will stick with 8 to get the price down a bit for now. I'm also going to upgrade the cpu and get the 4790k instead of the 4770k! Is it worth possibly down scaling the graphics card and getting some quicker ram so im not stuck at 1600-1888MHz or even get a less expensive cpu, possibly revert back to the 4770k? my budget was supposed to be around £800 but possibly could push it to about £950 if I must, minus the OS and case! Im going to stick with this power supply as later on I may upgrade etc. so I have a little extra power to play with!
  12. I am planning on building my first pc. I have chosen an i7 4770k processor and a GTX 970. Total price is only around £900 and that seems a little too cheap for the expected performance; I'm just wondering if I have gone too cheap on the other components as I don't want any bottle necks in my new system. My build: Processor - Intel core i7-4770k 3.5GHz Quad-core processor Motherboard - MSI H97 Guard-Pro ATX LGA1150 motherboard Memory - Corsair vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 memory Storage - Kingston SSDNow V300 series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive & Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card Case - Corsair Air 540 ATX Mid Tower Case PSU - Corsair CX 750w 80+ Bronze certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply PcPartPicker Link: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/q7P7dC Thanks, Pred101
  13. The Pulse Headphones are my favourite, great for just taking places, great product! love all of the computer parts, I am going to build a pc soon and this would be a great start. Thanks, Predator101
  14. I have only recently become a forum member, I've been watching your videos for about a month after a friend recommended your channel, the best recommendation he has and ever will suggest. I love to watch your videos; there hilarious, I love to watch the builds as I love to see how a pc is built and how everything works together. I've always wanted a gaming rig but I'm the worst at saving money, there is always a new game or bike product (I'm a huge fan of cycling) that I want so every spare penny goes into that. I would love to see more videos on monitors, for example your review on the BenQ BL3200PT 32", (best thing since sliced bread) I believe that a monitor is the hardest thing to choose as there are so many variations, I can never decide and although I'm only using consoles at the moment I love the experience on a monitor rather than a TV as it makes the gaming experience better when closer to the screen at a desk rather that looking across the room at the TV. My favourite food is Pie (not pi as in 3.14159265) but Pie (with ice cream of course)!!!! I'm always recommending your channel so everyone can see what amazing reviews and unboxing's you record, amazing channel, one of my favourite! Keep the amazing videos coming, Predator101
