  1. I've had the same problem a few weeks back. it kept giving me a black screen after installing the drivers (tried multiple drivers). For me the problem was a faulty psu cable connecting to the GPU. After swapping the cables, the problem was solved. You could give it a try.
  2. And i was just about to play some FH3 Today... Lucky me that i saw this news in time. I'ts a good thing that they are adding porsche. But i'd much rather have them to fix the game to run in SLI/crossfire and 21/9 & tripple monitor setups, but i'm afraid that's probably never gonna happen
  3. basically freesync, the monitor syncing its refresh rate with the rate the gpu is putting its frames out
  4. Make sure you have SLI disabled! Don't know how sli will run after the patch though
  5. This ^ is correct! And most of the time your overclock on the CPU wont be able to go as high as it would be able to otherwise, before becoming unstable.
  6. Glad you got it working! And you're welcome
  7. The main monitor settings, where you get the little menu popup on your screen saying : Color , image and system setup. Then just go to system setup and turn 'light in motion'on
  8. Go to : settings (by clicking on the little thumbpad on the back of the monitor) -> system setup -> light in motion at least i think thats what you mean ?
  9. You could try this : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1842630/8gb-ram-installed-windows-64bit-usable.html#11959943 Or go to msconfig -> boot -> advanced options and check if max memory is set, if so uncheck it .
  10. I would love to win the Razer Blade 14, So that i will be able to play BF1 while being @ work Razer @ LTT Thanks for this awesome giveaway and Gratz with the 3million subs!
  11. the new netgear router (router 3)is probably on the same IP address as the old netgear router (router 2). So change the ip of 1 of the 2 netgear routers and it should work. exemple: they probably both are on 192.168.0.1 so just change one of them (that is not going to do the routing) to 192.168.0.2. Or change it to 192.168.1.1 if you want both of them to do the routing and have another subnet. Also if i where you i would turn dhcp off on all but 1 router. So that 1 router is managing all the routing, to avoid conflics
  12. where are your 12V, 5V and 3.3V voltages at on your motherboard in HwMonitor ?
  13. No it does not have a build-in fan, that is why i put a fan directly under it . And no it is not sandwiched between te titans, but all the way on the bottom (4th PCIe x16 slot). So it can't really be the heat. It's a shame there are no waterblocks for these raidcarwd, otherwise i would put them under water, just to be sure. i myself was also thinking about something with the PCIe lanes, but more on the MOBO side. Like if the PCIe slots are not delivering enough power to the raidcard when te titans kick in. But that shouldn't be a problem as i have the extra molex connector connected to the MOBO to supply more power to the PCIe slots. yep, you got it! 1 ax1200i is solely for powering the titans, the other 1 is powering everything else (MOBO, CPU, SSD's, 40 sp120 hp fans and 2 d5 pumps.) the problem is that the raidcard does not have it's own power connector, but it draws power from the PCIe slot. but surely the motherboard should be able to supply that. one thing i should mention is that the titans are running a custom vbios (skyn3t-vBios-1006), so they can draw up to 350w each without overclock and up to 439w each with overclock. And seeing that the titans only have a 8-pin and 6-pin connector connected to it, so maybe they really are drawing to much power from the PCIe lanes ? Still wierd though as i have the extra molex connector connected to add soem extra juice to the pcie slots.... Vbios spec's: Base core clock 1006Mhz Boost Disabled Voltage unlocked 1.212v Default power target 350W with 125% slide = 439w Max fan speed adjustable to 100%
  14. Every time i boot up a game, my LSI raidcard will just crash as soon as the game is done loading. At first i thought it was as a bad card, so i got it RMA'd. But the second one did the exact same thing. And after a week or 2 it stopped working completely, so i got it RMA'd again. Now i'm on my third LSI 9271 and i put a fan directly under it, as i thought maybe it's just overheating. But as soon as i booted up GTA V and it was done loading the prologue mission (when you can walk), it crashed again and again after i retried it. Both the firmware of my motherboard (RIVBE) as the LSI controller where updated to the newest version, aswell as the windows driver for the lsi raidcard And it was still crashing. I'm allmost starting to think that the GPU's are making the raidcard crash, as it happends everytime when all 3 of the titans are starting to being used (heavily) It also seems to happen when i load a game that is stored on my OS Drive, so not from the raid array that is connected to the lsi 9271... And as soon as i take the raidcard out of the pcie slot, it seems to work just fine.... My setup is as follows : CPU : 4930K (L.C.) MOBO : Rampage IV Black Edition (L.C.) RAM : 64 GB (8 x 8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Mhz GPU : 3 x GTX Titan in SLI (L.C.) SSD : 1 x 256GB 840 Pro (for the OS) 4 x 512GB 840 Pro in RAID 0 (connected to the LSI 9271-4i) - All the ssd's are on the latest firmware. PSU : 2 X AX1200i, so it can't really be that the system is not getting enough power. RAIDCard : LSI Megaraid 9271-4i with BBU (battery backup unit) installed I hope someone has a clue what could be the cause, as i ran out of ideas. I'm thinking about buying the LSI Raid Controller MegaRAID SAS 9341-8i. But if the problem is laying somewhere else, that wont do me any good... Edit : one thing i should mention is that the titans are running a custom vbios (skyn3t-vBios-1006), so they can draw up to 350w each without overclock and up to 439w each with overclock. And seeing that the titans only have a 8-pin and 6-pin connector connected to it, so maybe they really are drawing to much power from the PCIe lanes ?
