  1. I did get it from eBay, and it's true I can't verify if it's working, because all I have is a previously bad board, but the last one had an obvious short with this one I can't tell what could be going on.
  2. I have a Dell Inspiron 13 2n1 that had a bad motherboard so I replaced it but it still won't turn on. The charge led turns on but when I push the power button the charge led turns off for a few seconds then back on. I've tried reseating all connections, I've tried resetting the cmos, I've tried replacing the cmos battery, I've also tried just one stick of RAM and no boot drive, it just doesn't do anything and there is no fan spin either.
  3. Google play services stopped working on me a few days ago so I finally got it reinstalled and most google things working again, but Google assistant is gone so I tried installing the app and it says it's incompatible with my device when I have been using it for the past 2 years. I am on android 7.1.1 on a nextbit robin. I have also made sure my language is set to english US because that can cause google assistant to not work but it's set correctly. I've also cleared the cache and data of the google app and the play store. Nothing I've tried is working, please give me more suggestions.
  4. After reinstalling windows my hard drives said they needed permission to open the files, so I have been trying to take ownership of the files but it still isn't letting me access the files.
  5. I have now tried reinstalling Premiere and that was unsuccessful.
  6. I just installed premiere pro yesterday. I am on Windows 10 pro on the latest version. My specs are an EVGA x58 sli motherboard, xeon 5660, and an Asus strix RX 570.
  7. Adobe Premiere pro 2019 is not letting me enable GPU acceleration. I have tried the latest driver and multiple older drivers back to December 2018. I have also tried running the GPU Sniffer in the premiere folder and it runs for a few seconds and says GPUSniffer testing 254 then closes. If anybody is familiar with this issue and knows how to help please help me out.
  8. I've just started a system restore at a date that was before the issue started happening and I'm pretty confident that it will work seeing as the issue seemed like some sort of automatic task to be run rather than some robust malware.
  9. A few days ago I noticed that chrome was opening randomly to an adfly page and I don't have any idea what it started from because my brothers friends are always using it. I have tried scanning with malwarebytes and adwcleaner and I have tried reinstalling chrome and clearing cookies, but even when chrome is closed it will just open up to that adfly page, and while chrome was uninstalled it still opened to the same page in internet explorer. The computer is running Windows 8.1.
  10. For whatever reason the motherboard doesn't have a video out.
  11. Yes I did make sure it was set to the dedicated GPU.
  12. One thing that I can add that's weird is that on the mobo I look at the post codes and it goes all the way through and says successful boot and I can hear the hard drive running and it seems like everything is running except for nothing happens on the monitor. I have also tried all different ports on the 660.
  13. I recently got an old LGA 775 system from my uncle and wanted to make a cheap system out of it. The system originally had a gt 610 in it and it worked just fine. I had a GTX 660 that I wanted to put in but when I tried booting the system it didn't work. My first thought was to check to see if it was a power supply problem. The PSU is 550W so I thought it should be fine. I tried a GT 630 and that still didn't work. It only booted with the gt 610. I then tried a 450W PSU and the GT 630 was working fine and I knew the 450W wasn't enough for the system with the 630 so I went and bought a 600W EVGA PSU and popped it in thinking it should fix the problem and it still wouldn't boot with the 660. I was confused at this point but decided to try even another GPU. My main system has a GTX 670 so I put that in and now it booted just fine. This led me to believe my 660 wasn't working. But now I have the 660 in my main system which I'm writing this post on now. The motherboard of the system I'm trying to put the 660 in is an Abit IN9 32-X MAX. And the CPU is a core 2 quad q6600.
  14. I installed a driver from July and now it's working fine. I don't know why the latest 2 drivers aren't working correctly.
  15. I have a gtx 580 and it only has 1.5 gb of vram so I can't play a lot of newer games or at very high resolutions. I would love to have a new amd gpu. I would finally be able to play new games again.
