It's not so much that i'm trying to move games, they just keep freezing my computer when I try to download them.

So since I built my pc in July, I've been running it on a 120GB pny xlr8 ssd. That obviously fills up fast, I decided a few days ago to buy a 1TB WD Blue hard drive so i could download more games and such. So I installed the HDD in my pc yesterday, formatted the drive, and it worked. It shows up in the files along with the ssd, and i could transfer files and programs to it. But when I re-installed steam to the HDD, the game downloads tend to stop after 5-10 minutes, and my pc freezes and i have to hold to power button to turn it off and restart it. I did successfully download Metro LL (although it wont run correctly for some reason, it always starts in safe mode, and crashes when i try to play it), but bioshock infinite and DayZ both have this issue. I couldn't find good help from any other website, and since steam doesn't have tech support to call, i'm hoping one of you guys can help me.
