  1. Hi All, I am looking to upgrade/rebuild my pc for use as an engineering student as well as casual gamer. I currently have an RTX 2060 6GB which I will transfer to the new build, but other than that I will be buying new components from the case to the CPU. Any suggestions or comments on my proposed build below would be great. 1. Budget & Location Around £900 GBP, United Kingdom 2. Aim I am an engineering student, and also a casual gamer. Looking for a system that can run CAD modelling software and also various 3D simulation programs; but also handle games like Battlefield V, Arma 3 at 1080p. 3. Monitors Currently using 1x 1080p monitor, no plans to upgrade resolution at the moment. 4. Peripherals Looking for new mouse and keyboard, currently looking at Razer Hunstman and Deathadder Elite for £160. 5. Why are you upgrading? Current PC is using an i5-4690k @3.5Ghz, handles games relatively well but is really struggling with some of the simulation software and CAD rendering I am trying to do. Looking for a rebuild that will last for the next 3-4 years with room for upgrades if need be. Proposed build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor £270 Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX £105 Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory £81 GPU: RTX 2060 6GB (Already Owned) Case: Corsair SPEC-DELTA Carbide £60 (Any case under £100 really) PSU: Corsair 650W TX650M £85 Storage: Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB £72 for boot disk and a few games (Already own 1 x 2TB Hard drive for majority of files) Peripherals: Razer Hunstman + Deathadder Elite £160 Total is around £840. I haven't included a CPU fan as I have read that the stock cooler is more than adequate, I am not planning to overclock if I can avoid it. Cheers Guys
