  1. So I bought an EVGA 1070 SC on Black Friday, and up until yesterday it worked flawlessly. I started playing The Forest with some buddies, and my PC froze up and started artifacting really badly, then crashed with a BSOD error of nvlddmkm.sys. Tried to play again, this time at a lower graphic setting, same thing. I looked it up and tried a few of the solutions I found. However, nothing worked.Today I did have some success (if you can call it that) after doing a fresh driver install again. The nvlddmkm.sys error seems to be gone. However, it's still crashing, this time due to something else. I monitored temps, and they only reached a max of 66C. Here's a link to the minidump folder w/ the four crashes I've had since doing a Win10 Feature update this morning: https://drive.google.com/open?id=11vbE2_iZUe31K0o0oZ3ey.... As well, here's a link to a Snapchat video that I sent to one of the buddies I was playing with, showcasing the artifacting that is happening: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kxakqHQ1meB8qAYb0Ber7...Here's some things I've tried:- Update drivers to latest version- Boot into safe mode, uninstall drivers via Device Manager, reboot, redownload and install latest version from NVIDIA's site (this fixed the nvlddmkm.sys error, but still crashing due to something else)- Expand nvlddmkm.sy_ to nvlddmkm.sys, replace the original file, reboot- Windows Update (did a feature update from 1607 to 1709);- Unplug left and right monitor, and only game on main oneI haven't done a fresh Windows install at this point b/c I'm hoping someone on here may have knowledge of the error, and have a solution. I'd like to avoid a fresh install if at all possible, for obvious reasons lol.I've been trying it on a few different games, here's what I've tried and what has crashed:The Forest - max settings, medium settings, crashed on bothPUBG - max settings, crashedCoD WW2 - max settings, crashedThe Witcher 3 - max settings, crashedGTA V Online - max settings, worked (didn't test game for very long)Escape from Tarkov - max settings, worked (didn't test game for very long)I feel like if I test any other game at this point, it'll be the same thing.PC specs are:i5 6600k (not overclocked)MSI Z170A SLI Plus16GB G.Skill 2133 MHzEVGA GTX 1070 SuperClocked (have not touched any settings on it)EVGA 850G2If you need any other information, please let me know, and I'll do what I can. Any input is much appreciated! Thanks,Michael

  3. But it still cuts out randomly, effectively making it useless for me. It disconnects before I have a chance to connect to the UI.
  4. https://192.168.1.253:8006/ I did it before and it told me that the website is unsafe, and prompted me to continue to the site or go back to safety, so the URL is correct. But for some reason it just goes down temporarily and it stops loading..
  5. It's just the default Chrome error message, "This site can't be reached. \n<IP> took too long to respond..."
  6. Yeah, they're all on 192.168.1.x
  7. I am logged in as root, that's the default user. I asked on the proxmox forums, and they told me to type "lspci -k | sed -n '/Ethernet/,/Kernel/p'". I did this, here's the result: Ethernet controller: Realltek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8169 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 10) Subsystem: Pretty much same as above Kernel driver in use: r8169
  8. Forgot to mention I'm a noob w/ Linux, I don't know any commands really except ping...
  9. I'm trying to install Proxmox and connect the to the web GUI, but I'm having some issues... Motherboard is Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0. Using onboard NIC, I configured it to be 192.168.1.253, /24, and the DG and DNS 192.168.1.1, which is my router. I did notice that the default IP was 192.168.100.x, which is a totally different subnet. After installation, I logged in and tried to connect to the web GUI but wasn't able to. Tried to ping gateway and wasn't able to. Tried to ping the PC and nothing. I played around with it for a bit, and still nothing. Bought a $25 PCI (not express) NIC at a local store and immediately noticed a difference, the default IP was on the .1.x subnet, which is already a big improvement. Got it installed, logged in, and I was finally able to ping the default gateway. HOWEVER -- it was not consistent. It would have a few successful pings, then drops for a few, and back and forth. Same going from my PC to the VM PC, it was intermittent. So far I have tried with the latest version of Proxmox, 4.4, as well as 4.3. I wasn't sure if I should post this in the Network subforum or the virtualization subforum, but since it's a networking issue I figured it'd be best here. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Michael
  10. So basically any AM3 compatible CPU will work just fine for this?
