Thanks for the advice but it turns out my motherboard doesnt get along with corsair memory, bought a kit of 2x8 gskill ripjaws and it solved my crashing

What typically seemed to work with my Alienware 18 was to take all the RAM out. Then unplug the regular battery and the CMOS battery and leave it for like 5 minutes. 
 
Then plug the CMOS and regular battery back in, plug the power adapter back in.
 
Then with NO RAM in the system hit the power button, but then insert 1 stick of RAM like, 1 to 2 seconds after you press the power button. Seems to be the only way to hard reset the BIOS settings and worked probably 4-5 times for me.
 
This could also be part of the reason that this laptop is 120% dead now, but I don't know maybe not.

Older laptops use to have a pin hole you could go through with like a paper clip to reset the laptop, not sure thats around anymore honestly. But if your googling didnt reveal anything, then likely not. 

Follow the guides.. they were written for a reason... to prevent DAMAGE.

This happens to me as well but in other games (I dont play Fortnite) and only thing that helped me was downloading a driver updater software. But I think you should try out going to fortnite.shipping.exe (i think) and go to left click on it then right click and go to properties tab then to compactibility tab and press the run in compactibility mode for windows 8. Then click on the disable fullscreen optimalizations. Try it out if it doesnt help then verify the integrity of the game files (find it on the internet) and if none of it works then reinstall the game itself. Sorry for my bad English. @brianp1999 yup ya can? And I dunno if someone can improve at fortnite if being carried like you stated in the OP. tbh best place to train for aiming in fortnite would have to be PUBG. (Not trying to be a dick just experience) played PUBG before Fortnite and majority of my solos would end within top 5 of Victory Royale (Due to my poor building skills in the game) but my aim was always on point.
 
My buddy who has over 75 wins in fortnite can't get the Grip of PUBG, I was laughing my ass off when I hear him saying he has spare Medium Rounds when playing PUIBG, like what?

My Laptop is an Elitebook 8470P. It's serial number is CNU317xxxx (Chinese serial number), and would have been purchased in the US (I have no way of confirming this, but I bought it used from a person in the US). I believe my brothers 8470W has a Malaysian serial number, and it has a has an arbic layout keyboard and would have been purchased in Saudi Arabia.
 
Every HP Laptop (That isn't a workstation) that I have dealt with has had Chinese serial numbers
Every HP Workstation I have dealt with has had Malaysian serial numbers
Most HP Business Desktop I have dealt with have had Australian serial numbers
 
Serial numbers doesn't mean where they are sold, they are often just generic.

Oh ok  Well only one can assume it's doing great as the forums FP anything is broken on lookup, equally Linus could be cutting ties to limit losses, however the last one is very unlikely as Luke wouldn't part ways with LMG as that would be job suicide
