  1. Omnidirectional* is what you mean, just for next time!
  2. Logitech makes fine speakers. The obviously won't compare to higher brands but they aren't made for that. They are made for nice bang for buck without sacrificing anything. I have the Z623 and I love them. Get very loud and the subwoofer is very nice. Watched a movie and my room was rumbling and the door was vibrating. I listen to rap and dubstep so I am really big on good bass and these deliver it. But, the "satellites" sound good and I have never had them up 100% because it is way to loud. If you ever have it up 100% you better be out of the room with the door closed.

    HD558'S

I just recently got mine and I love them. 100% over ear, comfortable, breathable, good sound quality and great for gaming. I would recommend for sure.
  4. Yeah I do want the M50s, but I don't want to go through this again with happening to return headphones. The HD 558 look really nice though. Most likely will go with those. I do like the Beyer DT 770 too, but can't find them cheap enough. Not a big fan of the HD 338 because of the ear cup. My dad has a pair of some Sony wireless headphones and they have the same ear cup and I don't like it. Makes a weird noise and doesn't feel right. I know I could always swap them too though.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions, loving the looks of the HD 558/518. Keep them coming thank you guys.
  6. Well I made a post in the beginning of January this year asking for a headphone recommendation. I ended up getting the AT-WS55 and I love the sound and look. The bass is nice and doesn't overpower. But the problem is, I can only wear the headphones for eh, 15 minutes before I can anxious to move them due to discomfort. So now I wear my hood and that helps but still get discomfort. The big problem is my ear touch the driver, and I actually wore them for so long in a single sitting, (due to planetside 2 double XP weekend) that one of my ears got scabbed. I would love to use my headphones for hours at a time but I can't even with my hood. I can return the headphones before February 10th, and I don't have a big budget. Looking for something $120 or under. I was really looking at the M50s but I see reviews about discomfort and it makes me second guess even though I have seen people rate the comfort very high. I have stretched my AT out on my desktop pc which is pretty wide and I wear them every day at least for a little bit. Another problem is that the "over-ear" ear cup doesn't go all the way over my ear it cuts off the bottom a little bit, but mostly my ear touching the driver is the problem. I listen to rap and dubstep, and game for long periods of time, and I also don't really care if the headphones are "bassy" or not, although I would like to have nice bass. One of my big worries is Open vs Closed. I love the closed because of very little noise leak and the isolation from everything around you. But I also hear that closed are usually the worst for comfort. And the WS55 ear cups which are pleather don't bug me at all. So guys, I want comfort. Thank you.
  7. What amp would you recommend? Would a Fiio E10 be a better option than a amp? I am leaning towards the Audio-Technica.
  8. Mine have been going strong. I push them pretty hard pretty often.
  9. As for port or driver facing you, I would choose port. You can experiment on your own and see which one sounds best, although there probably won't be a difference really at all.
  10. Leaning towards these: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-EF0060-Aurvana-Live-Headphones/dp/B000ZJZ7OA http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-WS55BK-Solid-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B005BHIZU4 http://www.amazon.com/Over-Ear-Headphones-ComfortMax-Cushions-Earpads/dp/B0093PVTPS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I like bass but I don't want the headphones to be geared towards that. I have a nice speaker setup and a couple of extra subs in my room so if I need a bass fix I can just turn on those.
  11. I do like some bass so thank you jam08060
  12. I have decided to finally look for a pair of headphones since I already have a headset and it is kind of uncomfortable and I feel the SQ can be better. I have found some choices like http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-WS55BK-Solid-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B005BHIZU4 http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M40FS-Professional-Precision-Headphones/dp/B0002D03ZW http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-518-Headphones-Black/dp/B0042A68R8 http://www.parts-express.com/grado-prestige-series-sr60i-headphones--232-402?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pla I only listen to rap and dubstep but I do game quiet often. I prefer my headphones not to "leak" so I believe I am leaning more towards closed headset. What are your guys opinions? Thanks.
  13. Under the desk with the port having room to breath. If you put the sub in the middle of the room vs under the desk, under the desk will be louder.
  14. Z623 for sure. You can get some amazing loud bass out of them and the SQ is still good.
  15. I own the Z623 and they are awesome. If you get the other speakers you won't have crap for bass compared to the Z623.
