I have an old MSI Big Bang XPower 2, but both bios got corrupt on it. so I'm on a basic gigabyte one atm. If you can find a nice 1TB SSD for 100$ link me lol. That's what I'm hearing. Intel 6 core line-up is not really a bang for buck type of deal. But hell, I'm getting a 6 core for under 200$. Alright I'm going to get the Win 10 usb, 250Gb SSD, and a 4TB WD Black. Just to get my PC running again. I'll save GPU & CPU for Christmas sale or wait for price to drop on GPUs since I want a 1080 now. By that time I'll be ready to rebuild another custom loop. And hopefully a new installation of windows and all new storage fixes everything. I'll probably keep my old hard drives around for if I need something off them. I don't want to risk spreading a virus in the hard drives I had since December 2013.

That's for the new 2011 socket though? If so i'd have to upgrade everything.

Sounds good to me. 250gb ssd for windows 10. I plan on getting a WD black, or if I can find a 1TB ssd for cheap, for my games and editing softwares. I hate damn loading screens. Liquor + Pizza would be nice. But I been leaving work with 6hrs before I have to go back in this past week. 3930k it is. GPU.... Any recommendations on that? To me it looks like their just playing around a lot with peoples money.

So I'm re-doing my PC. last time I was into this stuff was around 2014, so I'm way out of date. And I can't really do anything without a blue screen crash. I want a 6 core since I render 3D and do photo and video work, but i don't know if the 3930k is outdated by now. I'll be getting it for a little under 200$ for the cpu, I'm also buying a new copy of windows 10, and an ssd to put it on, plus a WD black for my games. My plan this should be a solid working build that I can run 2-3 1080p monitors on, or a 2k curved. I'm running on a 780, and I'm going to buy better ram but i got like 14gb of bestbuy ram somehow... I thought I had way more but everything is getting old and broken in my PC. Not looking to spend too much, I'd rather put more money into my cars, thanks.

Neither have worked for me. I think I just need to take time and reinstall windows to a new HD next weekend. Take all these old HD out after I get a few files from them and start fresh. Only issue is I have 4HD's all 1TB and most are over half full. So I'll be loosing a lot. I don't know if it's worth it.

First of all I know my last option is to reinstall windows but I've done that 4 times already on all 4 of my hard drives over the years. Avoiding that.. Rather buy an SSD and put windows on it if I'm going that route. But my issue is windows update is screwing me. It won't download a few updates I need to go from windows 14393.0 to 14393.102. I've done afull day of searching google and trying every solution I could. I found a manual download of the update but that .exe fails to install it as well. I've done the Stop bits commands and such, and rename the folders in windows trick, and also windows update repair and a another windows repair tool I forgot the name of. If anybody has this issue and solved it, tell me what you did, and I'll try it. otherwise if you got some ideas post them. I did spend 100$ on Forza 3 and now I can't even install it, so I'm anxious for a fix.

I want one with a flip out screen and a detachable face. Cars get broken to all the time over here. both my parents cars been broke into at least twice and had the shitty radios stolen from them. Going to have a detachable steering wheel as well.

It's some random aftermarket head unit. No idea what it is, but I just don't want to connect something up wrong and end up wrecking a good radio.

Noted! Been focusing on work and my car for the past like 6 months, so haven't kept up to date on here. Just figured a lot of people on here would know, seems simple, but nobody on youtube shows you what to do. It's either blurry, 1fps, or just text. or it simply tells you nothing.

The blue power wire you run from the radio to the amp, where do you put it in the radio? there are tons of wires back there, where do you run it to?

Just something in the price range, that will play games and do his school needs. That looks fine though. Thanks for helping! I tried to find a few, but they had almost nothing GPU wise. It's a tough price range to search in.

a friend at work is going to start college, and he needs a laptop that can do all his paper work, and presentation, like power point and stuff, but he also wants to still play games. Budget for him is 500-700$. Games like skyrim or WoW, LoL, ESO, mostly casual games I think. I'm more of a desktop person, and I have been focusing on my work, and cars for the better part of about 6ish months, so I'm rusty. Suggestions would be a great help,or newegg, or amazon links.

I can try doing 700$ on there. Link my eBay account to show I'm legit I guess. Never had a reddit account. Nobody is interested in them on ebay even with free shipping. These 780s been sitting in my closet for months now. Too lazy to buy a new water pump to rebuild my loop, so I figured I'd just sell em and use the money to fix up my car.
