Nickz got a reaction from ProKoN in 5GHz Overclock Club
Welp, here is the oddball of the thread. 5Ghz is 24/7 stable, will run for hours at 5.2, and will boot into windows at 5.4 at 1.6 Vcore (might be able to do a short test, temps kill it). Cooled with a Antec Kuhler 620.

Nickz got a reaction from Bluejay0 in Linus or Slick, can you add an extreme cooling section?
Eh it is, but it's more for the hobby enthusiast I guess. At least I tried .

Nickz got a reaction from Belgarionbg in Northbridge Overheating!
Feel the NB heatsink itself. 254C is 490F, and the chip will die LONG before that temp. My guess is a dud sensor or reading.

If you have a hot chip or want to overclock ASAP, it's something to think about. I'm not going to run a 4.6-4.8GHz overclock right after I apply AS5, the temps are going to be out of hand. Even though AS5 is still up there, any review on it shows the cure time as a negative/drawback to most of the other TIM out right now.
AS5 is showing it's age. It's 9 years old and it's still the best they offer. They've had a good run, but now there are other alternatives that are just as good and have less waiting/better performance.
