  1. You must buy it, Either from Microsoft or on a official retailer (amazon for example)
  2. Nope you don't. Unless the key is allready activated on another PC. It may not be able to activate. Still worth trying
  3. Yeah all systems need to be on the same network as the host system.
  4. You can allways try to install them. Windows 10 comes with support for many adapters natively. There Server 2012 drivers which you could try. http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=5329465
  5. I wouldn`t go higher then 1.3V on air and 1.8V on water
  6. My latest purchase is an Compaq Armada 1130 (Pentium 133MHz and 16MB of RAM)
  7. i assume you run windows and this may happen: windows won`t let you do it because it is against there Terms of Service because your licence is for 1 system (usually determined by your mobo) is you swap the disk from one system to another it will deactivate or crash (I havent tested it)
  8. So today is the release of windows 10, and I am upgrading all my pc`s to it. It is pretty stable, only driver support may be a problem although Intel has drivers for Z87 and newer. AMD is a bit behind with chipset drivers. GPU drivers from AMD for win10 are for the preview but work fine on the release system. so I start by doing by making a backup of all my files I want to keep. The next thing I do is a clean install of windows. (some drivers crashed and wouldn`t work on win10 and made my system BSOD on startup) After the install of win8.1 i downloaded this tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 to upgrade so yeah I just had to wait to for the download because it was pretty slow for all machines, because everyone is downloading it. https://owncloud.bartstuff.eu/index.php/s/MlUQJS2w0yemV19 an image of one pc getting the upgrade I decided to upgrade one by one. This was the best way in my oppinion. https://owncloud.bartstuff.eu/index.php/s/OcSPrVI9jcFCJD5 After the upgrade i just downloaded the latest drivers from all the manufacures of the hardware. This made sure my drivers will work in win10. so now I just fire up Ninite.com and get the software i need.
  9. this should prevent it from emediatly restarting
  10. go to pc info then advanced system settings, then in the startup and recovery section click settings, under system failure make sure automatically restart is unticked.
  11. what is the error on the BSOD?
  12. I would go for the first one.
  13. usually this is the case that it is dead. as i said there is a chance that you can still get data off it. But 9/10 cases it is R.I.P. Crystal Disk Info would tell you critical. most of the time this happens
  14. R.I.P Hard Drive I am sorry to tell you that your HDD is dead. (maybe little functioning but these symtoms are very bad) How old is the disk, what is the brand and model? I had drives fail at very low ages like just 500 hours and gave the clicking disk. if you can get any data off of it, you are lucky. Because the chance that is possible is quite low but it is not impossible.
  15. are you streaming or are you watching a stream?
