Try contacting whoever you bought the MIC from? Maybe ask to RMA it and tell them why? Then if you get a new MIC and the issue persists then you know its not the MIC that was the issue

Well, I just recently got a Logitech G600 MMO and I love it. It's not too flashy, has fairly customisable backlighting, and has enough buttons to allow you to play games suitably with just the mouse itself (though I don't recommend it).
