  1. Being a Target employee I get an additional 15% off. Unfortunately, being a Target employee I still don't get paid enough to buy one.
  2. Why buy a 50" 4k TV? I can understand a 4k monitor, but don't the vast majority of people sit too far away from their TV to notice the extra pixels? I'd rather get a Panasonic plasma TV for the color accuracy.
  3. I don't understand this. So, this combines the hassle of going out and being around people and the inconvenience of waiting for my purchase to be delivered. Also, who has the time before work to shop in the middle of a subway station?
  4. The internet confuses me. One minute everyone is saying the internet is all porn and porn is great, the next everyone is acting like Oculus Rift porn isn't an awesome idea. Honestly, there is a very good chance I will buy this.
  5. Maybe it's just the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, but it seems like there's been an increase in Half Life related news/gossip recently.
  6. Christ, how long has this rumor been around for? Sounds like crap that tech sites roll out on slow news days.
  7. Never experienced an earthquake, but tornadoes are quite common down here in Tennessee. I usually sleep through them since the power often goes out.
  8. The Washington Post is reporting that the NSA and FBI are collecting data from companies such as Google, Facebook, Youtube, Yahoo, Microsoft, and Apple as part of a top secret government program codenamed PRISM. This news comes on the heels of a report by The Guardian that Verizon has been supplying the phone records of customers to the NSA. I think I speak for everyone when I say this is some disturbing and unsurprising stuff.
