  1. I did go right into appdata and copy from there. Also, the smaller the file the longer it takes? Mind explaining that as it makes no sense whatsoever, if my HDD can move files at 50mb/s, shouldnt 30k of files totalling 1 byte of data be moved instantly?
  2. So i made a new account on my pc, and have been in the process of moving all my crap onto it. I copied (not moved, old ones still remain as a backup) all my documents (about 100gbs) and that was all fine, now I am copying (again, not moving) my appdata over. 200k files total, it got to "99%" in half an hour, as expected, but its been on 99% (with 33k files remaining) for the best part of 6 hours, in that time it has only moved a couple hundred files, at a rate of ONE file per minute, often sometimes taking 5, 10, or even 15 minutes FOR A SINGLE FILE THAT IS 0 BYTES LARGE. Why the F*** has it taken 6 hours for 200-300 files? At this rate its going to take me 3 weeks to a month of CONSTANT work to move! What the F***
  3. Guess I'll just get a cheapo £20 one and my mo3 then
  4. True. I'll probably get one of the ones you showed. Thank you for that by the way, you've been a great help.
  5. I don't want to spend more than £50 TOTAL. So that'd include the price of the mp3 player. I could get both for £30 and £20, but I'd rather one device.
  6. THose all look pretty good. I think I'll expand my budget to £50. But for that price I expect it to be able to get at least a full days worth of music playback (so like 10 hours?)
  7. just music playback, screen off, headphones in, that's all. My tiny £30 mp3 lasted 40.
  8. Also I'm fine with used, as long as it still works properly, the trouble with used is they've usually fucked the battery into oblivion.
  9. It'd be PAYG seeing as I'll hardly use the "phone" aspect. It seems pretty decent. I'll definitely keep it in mind, though I am going to try and search myself for something with a larger battery. I was planning on spending £30-40 on this specific mp3 player that got 40 hours constant playback, impossible to beat, but if I could get a phone with like 20 hours music playback for £50, i'd be happy.
  10. would it be able to play music? If so, for how long?
  11. Thanks, I'd use linus's reviews but they;re all for $400 phones.
