  1. Hey man, Uploaded a test to soundcloud sorry for the delay I just got back home https://soundcloud.com/dan-yule/test
  2. I'll mount some rubber between the fans and let you know if it has cleared up. If not what USB sound card do you recommend? I'm from the UK if you have links.
  3. Hello people, As always I thought I'd seek out the smart people of linustechtips to help me with an issue. I have just got a Hyperx cloud headset and the mic is picking up vibrations from my case which are probably the fans while recording. It's been an ongoing problem as this happened wit my previous headset the razer carcharais. I've tried the back inputs and the front and still the sound is present. I have the asus gene vii motherboard if anyone knows something about it that I dont. The mic input is also a 3.5mm. Thanks guys.
  4. Hey guys, Recently bought a h55 cheap for a second build and im using an as us m5a78l mobo. Only problem is the mobo only has a pwr fan input and chassis fan input. Therefor I can plug the pump into the pwr fan input but the fan on the rad can only go on the chassis fan input. Doing so has resulted in 90 degrees temps for my 8350. Should I use a Y splitter and connect both the pump and the rad fan to pwr fan input on the mobo. As leaving it how it is has resulted in thermal throttling playing intensive games. Thank guys in advance.
  5. Hey man, Built is coming along really nice. No GPU at the moment for the machine though? I can't get my head over the upside down motherboard, it looks strange to me. I feel like I should share my update prodigy M update with you as the heatsink is lol and takes up so much space. It's a NH-D15 (I'll put it as a link rather than an image dump so it doesn't take up lots of space on the page). http://i.imgur.com/v0qnXCF.jpg Anyway really nice build, looking forward to a GPU being thrown in there next to the h100i, haven't seen it yet been done.

  7. I was presuming it was a misread but was wondering if I was looking in the wrong place. What other monitoring software do you recommend for viewing the vcore?
  8. Hey guys Recently overclocked my 4690k to 4.5Ghz with 1.28v but CPU-Z is displaying my vcore as 1.856v, it should be stating 1.28v shouldn't it? Pic below of CPU Z screenshot.
  9. Mentioned in the post that I like MX Reds
  10. There's lifters at the top of the K65 just not at the bottom. I've ended up ordering the K65 RGB and also some rubber feet from amazon and I'll just stick them on the bottom of it
  11. Hey guys, So my K70 just died after 3 weeks of use, RMAd it back to Scan.co.uk and I'm now wondering whether I should get a K65 RGB instead of a replacement non-RGB K70. I don't use the end numberpad at all and so I don't see the need for it, I never use macros either as some people may say you can use it for macros. The only disappointed will be with the K65 is that there are no bottom feet to have the bottom side of the keyboard raised as this is how I used the K70, however I'm sure I can adjust to having the keyboard sit flat. So what do you guys recommend me do, are the RGB model significantly better on LEDs as opposed to the non RGB line of Corsair Keyboards. Oh and I'm going for Red switches as that's what I used before and I've grown accustom to them. Oh and both keyboards are priced the same just if anyone's wondering. Thanks people!
  12. Already sent it off to Scan.co.uk for a replacement
  13. I assure you that no one spilled anything on it, it just gave out.
  14. RMAing it back to Scan.co.uk got in contact with them yesterday and sending it off today. Thanks for the heads up though.
  15. After putting this post I'm more conscious and aware of it and I'm putting more weight on the middle of my middle finger and not the end thus solving the problem. By tomorrow I'll be a heavy weight middle finger champion haha.
