    Yea.. goverments logic:
Terorists are driving cars! Lets make them illegal!
Terrorists are drinking coffee with sugar every morning! Lets make that illegal!
Terrorists are wiping their butt with toilet paper! Lets make it illegal!

They are actualy causing more harm than terrorists.

The government are pretty stupid they are like "oh terrorists use secure encrypted communications, lets make them illegal".. its like yes because something being illegal ever stopped terrorists and criminals

I am pretty sure sombody prepared to steal, murder, rape and other such things are going to be turned off because their encrypted email is illegal

I bet you that Google, Amazon, Apple etc will all tell Cameron to fuck right off, I doubt they will allow a UK backdoor into all their security

Encryption is for the safety and privacy of UK citizens!!! you may as well remove ambulances

Cameron is really fucking stupid or really wants headlines....
If he thinks that the UK has the right to build in backdoors in all encryption, then every sovereign nation has that right. So China, the US, Iran any singly country. And then you kinda make encryption useless.
I hope that if he pushes through with this bullshit all companies just retreat from the UK (Google, FB, Amazon).

That's why you go into your account settings and tell it not to renew Amazon Prime once the trial period is up. You can do that right after starting the trial - no need to wait until the end.

Anyone who wants honesty in independent reviews should be offended that the scale changes depending on which card is performing better.   I don't generally agree with Kailth postings, but I do agree that those graphs:

    1. are moot and add nothing to this thread
    2. are presented in a biased way (changing the scale is presenting a bias).
    3. don't seem to reflect the results of the other independent reviewers, thus indicating they are doing something different and not telling us what.

As consumers it is important that product representation is not misleading. especially from independent (or supposedly independent) reviewers.

Several people are confirming new embossed coolers, that do not whine, so you cannot conclude that.

Nothing wrong with the scaling of the benchmarks. They all start with 0, and the size seems to be right.

I didn't make the meme, a quick google search suffices to find plenty nVidia fanboy-ism memes. But please, tell me how I'm immature?

Furthermore, and again something you don't seem to adress, WHY do I have to prove my point, when my point didn't even argue against your point? I'm asking you again to quote me, saying that the GM200 cards pull more watts than the Fury X or rather where I said the Fury X pulls less. I don't and never have disagreed with you on that point, so there's no need to prove you wrong in any way other than to quote my source for the 8W and 15W claim, which I did with the graph from the video and with providing the video, where the graph was taken from.

You then proceeded to quote various review sites to prove your point that the Titan X and the 980ti draw less power, and in some/most cases more than 8W and respectively 15W, which was completely useless in itself, since, and I'm repeating myself I NEVER DISAGREED WITH YOU ON THAT POINT, every review site has different results, which show the GM200 cards further or closer to the power consumption of the Fury X, but always below the power consumption of the Fury X, the same as with HardwareCanucks' result.

You then proceeded to tell that HardwareCanucks', and I quote:

isn't a credible source, implying they have a bias towards one over the other, and that they want to sell the product, trying to discredit my source, which is just as viable as the Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, PCPer, and so on, because they have a set testing method, which are all done on the same system, just as Tom's Hardware does. Not to mention that HardwareCanucks doesn't sell the product, because they have no online shop.

So, this behaviour has led me to believe, that you don't want to be disproven, not that this was ever my intention, and therefore I figured that YOU have a certain bias towards nVidia, therefore the callout of you being a fanboy, or rather fanboy-ish behaviour and the meme. You continued to go on a rand about how you posted sources to disprove me on something I didn't disagree with you on and continued to rant about my immature behaviour, and trying to prove me of a certain stance against nVidia or rather for AMD, which I never had.

Hey, you gotta give em big props for backing off and doing the right thing in the end.
Chances are someone misquoted the article and the bosses assumed something which wasn't true. After they fired the email and it all blew up they've actually read the article and realised it was an over reaction.
Good job for apologising and retracting Imax, its rare to see a business show some common sense and remorse these days.
