Thanks to the drop of HL:A I'm finally taking the plunge into the expensive and exciting world of VR. One problem, I ended up selling my desktop this last year to get an old Razer Blade 14" 2017(all I could afford) and now I realize I've borked myself because it needs an adapter to use display port. I would normally just grab whatever cheap one i can find on Amazon, but knowing that quality would be genuinely important for this use case, I want to get something that isn't trash. I don't know enough about Thunderbolt 3 or DisplayPort adapters to know which ones are good and which ones are hot garbage. Could someone point me in the right direction?

I ended up finding LinusMediaGroup through your Holiday Season 2013 buyer's guide. My friend wanted a cheap gaming PC, and after watching that video, I watched a few more. And a few more. And a few more... you get the picture. I ended up learning a lot about the options we had to build his computer, and what we could 'skimp' on and what we couldn't. Currently, he games daily on his rig, and he's really happy with the performance. A few months earlier, I had found TechQuickie, and everything I found on there was EXTREMELY useful, but I never further looked into you guys. I'm glad I ended up doing so, because now I'm(relatively) caught up with the current available computer/computer related products. -Dr. EvilKitteh
