  1. As far as I remember, a mix of resetting the headphones, and reinstalling the application on the phone too.
  2. My first and only DSLR. Nikon D5200. Don't even use the kit lens anymore (18-55). So the one I use most often is Nikkor AF-S DX ED 55-200 (4-5.6) and sometimes a Nikkor 50mm prime for close-ups.

The only time I recognized I had an addiction incoming was coffee. Got my first drip coffee machine and noticed that it's been almost 2 weeks and I drank coffee every day. It was pretty obvious, so I stopped doing it. Put the drip back in the cupboard and only drink 4-5 times a month. It's really not hard to quit as long as you're not being an utter idiot.

  6. Well, my first job, one that I got while finishing my Masters' in 2008, may be near an end. Not because I suck or anything, just the economics of the business are way too thin and we might be losing 25% of an already paper-thin support group.

Partially at an end, perhaps, since I might have to half my hours if possible. But that is a band-aid, so-to-speak.

I was lucky to have it.

Now, like the proverbial spouse separated after 15 years, I have no idea what to do since EVERYTHING I knew of a job is what I did "here". And my un-specialized nature was the reason I stuck around. That same nature is my downfall since I have no special skills to offer any prospective employer.

And, I worked from home since 2009! How the hell am I supposed to wake up at 7AM, and spend an hour getting to work, ("wtf who does that /s").

    Jesus Christ. :old-sad:

Make it clear that you have experience in the field and have been at it for a long time.

And there is your employment history, no one will keep you around for that long you for no reason.

You keep saying you have no special skills, yet you are still employed - Why is that?, What skills do you have that made them keep you around?

      You are underestimating yourself.

The danish Kw/h price is peaking again above 7D…

At least there's no imminent danger of losing power because Russian missiles hit a power generating facility in Ukraine. We've had that several times in just the last 2 weeks Finally got a valid reason to splurge on a decent UPS! It can always be worse, so be happy!

Just so you don't feel too bad for your situation - here in Moldova, where our average income is 12 times lower than the average in Denmark. Price per kWh is almost equivalent to 0.29 eurocents here. While in Denmark its what? Between 0.4 and 0.5 eurocents? Is that 12 times higher than 0.29? No. Some be happy and enjoy the, almost, free electricity Imagine if it was 3.48 euro per kWh. There you go.
  14. Well, you might end up setting up a VPN toward your home network so you can benefit from piHole on the go. But that's a totally different kettle of fish Still a neat experiment!
  15. how's your experience since then?)
  16. build it is pcpartpicker with realistic prices on components.
  17. It's always a good sign for a piece of technology if its good enough to be re-used.
  18. how long did you use this blocklist for? just so people know if its not too fresh and thus may cause false positive blockings.
  19. The Wifi6 ones over here are only a few in number and are definitely twice as expensive. Wanted to have a solid recommendation and push off from that by cross-referencing specs.
  20. Any suggestions of Wifi 6 APs floating around the forum? Haven't researched this subject … ever.
  21. Might just have to wait since the market of WiFi 6 routers is nowhere near the saturation point
  22. My ISP's router is a rather weak in terms of WIFI propagation (Innbox F60) and the installer suggest I find myself something better. Specifically need an SPF port since that's what they brought to the home and I cannot find a Bridge mode setting anywhere in its' UI. And yes, I am using an administrator user to access it. What I'd like is: - SFP port (preferably not SFP+ since I've heard there may be an issue of interconnectivity) - Gigabit capable on all ports - Both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz - Supports WiFi 6

    Status Update

Guess they might have a marketing/legal strategy to offer even the worst coverage instead of saying there's nothing worthwhile.
