The 4.3 in the S10 will be very reliable, but forced induction on that would be more trouble than it's worth. The Lexus would be much better for your type of driving.

The Supra will be cheaper to maintain, and be more reliable, but will cost a lot more than the rx7 to buy. The 6 speed twin turbo supra will be the most expensive, but will also hold it's value, they are appreciating right now. The Supra has more potential to make power if you don't want to spend lots of money.

I might be biased with usual mechanics BS, but I've repeatedly been told to stay away from European designed cars after their warranty expires when not in Europe (usually the cost to repair is unjustifiably high).   Mazda's and toyota's have never had a bad word said about them in regard to reliability or cost of repair.

I'd go with miata on that.

Yes, the amps will be different when changing voltage. So if your at 5 v and 27 amps that is 135w because p=IV. So if you want to find the draw from the plug socket, it would be I=P/V. So at 240 v it would be 1.8 amps.

    0 C = kind of cold
    100 C = dead

    0 F = really cold
    100 F = really hot

Most people seem to live in places where temperature swings are between 10 F and 100 F, which is -12 C to 38 C. The F scale more naturally covers typical weather conditions.

In this scenario F also has more granularity. You can say "it's in the mid 60s outside" and people will understand what you mean, whereas "it's in the mid 20s C" could mean a lot of things. You also don't have to mess around with fractional degrees when adjusting a thermostat in F.

People don't think about this because they're too busy bandwagoning on the "American measurements are stupid" train, but I do think F is a lot more practical in this situation.

Of course C makes more sense for scientific applications. But I'm pretty firm in my belief that F is an excellent scale for talking about the weather.
