so this one time I was hanging out with my friend who is the manager at a tech shop by where I live and a girl comes in and buys a 2tb hard drive. we let her know that we install hard drives for $1 (the cost of the sata cable we use) and she says "just because I am a woman does not mean I cant work on computers" and leaves in a huff. two days later she comes back in saying that the HDD is not working so we take the computer in to look at it, we open it and the HDD is nowhere to be seen, so we ask her where it is. and it turns out that she scanned it and put the scanned image on her desktop to install the drive. and to top that off she threw away the drive she paid almost $200 for and she wanted us to give her a new one.

Sorry for no posts recently. had trial exams so there was minimal progress. My glass top has been made and I decided to test it out last night. It looks really nice and im happy with the result. Some of you may be wondering how the table top will lift up and how will the glass stay on there? You could put some silicon on each corner but then you would see it and it wouldn't look the best. I remember seeing these stand off's on a small coffee tables and usually there is a gap between the table and the glass but I didn't want that. So to achieve this flush glass on the table top I drilled a hole to sit the stand off's in. These will be glued into place and they look rather professional I guess you could say. Tonight I started to lacquer the table top which also has come up quite good. In one of the photos you will notice how where the joins are you can see areas where it hasn't been lacquered, this is because I patched up some of the gaps and had to wait for it to dry. I will fix this up tomorrow. This is the bottom of the tabletop aswell so you wont see any of the stand off holes. Enjoy the pics.

As far as the gaming goes its fairly limited to Guild Wars 2, Runescape, Eve Online, & BF4 with the potential to use some form of racing games in future for a bit of sim work however atm that is on the back burner until i go 4k. 
 
 
With the way i have my shortcuts set out and how long i have been using it in the way i have i somewhat reluctant to defect over to Windows for CC work.
The Reds are something i am mulling over, potentially swap to Blacks or a SSHD.
 
I did think about going to the Green team A LOT but the lure of the potential to exploit 16gb of GFX memory down the line is just too tempting. If i was in the realm of Titans then they would be the choice but  i just cant justify that cost.
 
 
 
i know i know!  I just figured i would rather have a larger PSU that is not stressed should i upgrade and when underload doesn't spin the fans up much. 
 
 
 
I was mulling over the EVGA one. Looking into the Platinum rated it really shortens the list down some what. If i could i would go for the AX1500i but i am not spending £300+ on a PSU! haha!

Although I got it by downloading the ISO and burning it to a disc. Only method that worked for me.

The Asus H87M-Pro? I should be able to providing I've got the right Bios, and I'm buying an ATX Z97 for it anyway (mATX is frustratingly lacking after years of ATX mobo).
 
Edit: And yes I will try to overclock on it, proving that Intel's artificial limits are BS, which was also done by Abit back in the day of the Celeron (they had a motherboard that allowed SMP with them).

And what is usually the first thing you do, when you get a new monitor? Get a nice wallpaper.   
I couldn't find anything that I would've liked, so I did the same thing that I did before and created my own wallpaper.
