  1. So then get one 500 gb good ssd and leave your crappy one for a vm or something not important. Buying two crappy things does not equal one good thing.
  2. Why get another kingston ssd? The V300s are crap. You will see an improvement though.
  3. Almost always best for a clean install.
  4. It is legal. Its your computer. You can do whatever you want with your key. Do a fresh install and use the key on the sticker. That's not what they use to activate Windows anyway. If there is a problem usually you just have to call and talk to Microsoft (a computer) read numbers, punch numbers in and boom you are done. I have done it many times when a customer wants a new computer and wants to keep 7.
  5. Why wouldn't you take the battery out when working on a laptop in the first place??
  6. You can buy windows for cheap on reddit or on ebay.
  7. Buy windows 8.1. Don't be cheap. It will keep all your stuff. Update to the latest graphics driver. It is faster than 8 and 7. Do it if you want.
  8. You could don an acronis backup, but just do a fresh install. That way you wont forget to turn off defraging.
  9. USD to EUD has gotten a lot closer lately.
