  1. From both personal experience and work, maplin has be a go to supplier, especially for parts, not just PCs, we lay our own cabling throughout the site. That includes power, networking, audio and visual. I ran my own Ethernet through out my house, for the ends of cables and small components, maplin has been great especially when you just need a couple of RJ45 ends and can't be bothered waiting a day or two for shipping. Time to look for another go-to supplier...
  2. Does anyone know of any decent cases and mats that will work to charge an iPhone 6s Plus... preferably under £45 total.
  3. I ran into the same issue with mine, it would have been nice as I use mine at home but also take it to work with me, so the wire would have been nice. I have yet to find a way to make it work solely by wire, so I just bought two extra Unifying adapters one for work and one to just chuck in my back incase I'm not using a regular pc or laptop.
  4. My ISP supplied some £60 TP Link "EoP"s and it was slower than running a long ethernet cable through the house Thanks
  5. Hey, Haven't really ever used forums, so bare with this post. Basically, l live in a farming village in the UK. My house is quite old with thick solid walls through out most of it, so a decent WiFi connection is impossible throughout half of the house, the wiring is also pretty old so Ethernet Powerlines are more or less useless. I was wondering as I have a DSL line in one of the other rooms, would it even work if I bought a second modem for that part of my house or would it just not work? if you have an answer or any other suggestions regarding my issue, please let me know. Thanks, Ste.
  6. I fould Linus Tech Tips about a year ago when i was looking for a decent gaming mouse, because trying to play CS on a £5 just want working to well, i ended up getting a Logitec Gxxx not sure what model but basically, his videos are really helping me upgrade my current pc, and look out for things when im buying my next one.
