BACK UP YOUR DATA!

I managed to image this drive before it shat itself and literally rubbed the coating off the platter with a head crash

 

But yeah there's no way in hell you'd get anything back after this. Not my drive, FYI. Customer HDD.

    i have backups. i have important stuff in the cloud and my Mac (that i do all my important stuff on) is backed up to time machine at least once a week.

    @Queen Chrysallis understandable. my Time Machine backup is on an external drive as well. if that dies it's not too much of a problem as it keeps images of my ssd. as long as i get a new backup before my ssd dies i'm good.
