I'm just gonna keep buying these as long as PPCs still has them lol

 

They can be modified for LGA115x fairly easily and I managed to get a 3570K to 4800mhz with one

 

And they're cheap, even coming with a 2.5in bay fan controller!

    I keep thinking that acronym stands for Power PC

     

    as in the PowerPC architecture ?

     

    Did any systems outside of the Mac ever use PowerPC?

    How do you mod it to fit LGA 115x?

    @TheSLSAMG Just involves drilling some holes in the top part of the mounting bracket, just offset a couple mm from the 775 holes.

     

    Then you just need an LGA115x backplate with M3 screw holes, they're pretty easy to find
