Never thought I'd ever actually find an excuse to put a videocard in my fileserver, but I did. The IGPU used system RAM, so by throwing in one of the cards from the box the cat is eating, I was able to get all 8GB to be used for freenas.

    Wonder if that would do anything for my server. It's got a Core 2 Duo. It doesn't have any issues, but who knows.
