  1. I had to go back and re-watch chair reviews to decide which I'll get in a few weeks, and I think I'll go with the Maxnomic by Need for Seat, as it seemed like the best one of the three. I have two questions though: 1. Luke, did the back wings in the Maxnomic present the same problem for you as the Torretta? I'm 5'9" and I'm quite stocky so this has me worried even though you said they were less aggressive. 2. Do you guys have a referral link for Maxnomic? would be cool for you guys to get a kickback hehe
  2. Exactly man, they wouldn't miss it at all, and the likelihood of them tracking down the employee who made the mistake is slim to none. Giving it back was a big mistake. I understand why some people feel the need to bring morals into this, but damn they don't apply here! No one would have been hurt from this, and now the only person who has been hurt IMO is the OP, from losing out on a great Christmas present The compensation all but proves how much they appreciated it
  3. If I was in your situation, I would have kept them. Nothing like a cool 90k, and at the end of the day Apple/Amazon can easily afford it, karma doesn't even play into something like this lol, but hell, you're a bigger man than me for sending them back
  4. A Question for Luke: I think this is a nifty idea, and does save on room vs all the consoles. What advantages do you think it has over emulators? I use various emulators for classic games, and I don't consider it illegal as I own the games I download anyway, but I find it easier to use ROMS vs cartridges. Another side benefit is emulators that allow enchantment of the old games. Take Dolphin for example, you can use various features to enhance the games visuals, which sometimes works and other times doesn't, but it's a nice tool regardless. I can load up a game in seconds, choose a save state, then relax on the bed while playing the games in 1080p most of the time. I just use my TV as a 3rd monitor on the other side of the room and it works great for this, and the controller reaches fine. So I see little use for this, especially at that price, but nice review regardless.
  5. Well assuming it only refers to gifts and trades then I'm cool with this, at least somewhat. I never did buy the gifts from key sites as I simply don't trust them, I only buy the occasional CD Key if it's cheap enough to bother. The only way I think this could affect me, is I sometimes get my 'Merican friend to buy me a game and then gift it. An example would be AC: Black Flag... it was £20 in a summer sale, while it was $20 in the US! So instead of paying the £20 which is $31, I paid $20 instead which is £12.79, saving me just over £7! I normally don't mind paying 1 or 2 quid more as I get it's different with VAT and the such, but literally charging £20 here and $20 there is bull with no excuse lol x'D
  6. I've never used the teespring website before, and their sizing is confusing to me. My chest measured around is 43", while teespring only has the following measurements for their American Apparel Crew shirts: Width, Length and Sleeve. I did some diggin and checked American Apparel's website... their shirt size measurements are displayed properly, and I would fall under a large as that is 40-44", while teespring says a large is 22" Width and 30.38" length? I've never encountered this type of measuring before and I want to know if anyone who has bought one or is familiar with teesprings measurements can let me know as the shipping to the UK alone is $15 Thanks
  7. Because 16x2 = 32, it has 28 lanes, so the cards would run in 16x/8x vs the possible 16x/16x with 40 lanes I get paid for some design work, the rendering is my video hobby, which also pays a nice amount, and the more I could do faster, the better ofc. A great way of looking at it though! I do plan to keep this 3-4 years besides GPU's which I normally change for no reason Yup, the differance is so small, I just needed more people pushing me in the right direction Thanks all! With no advocates for the 5930k, I can push the temptation out of my mind and get the 5820 and possibly a second 980
  8. This conversion again, but I'm really torn on which to purchase. Here is what they cost me: 5820k: £283.99 5930k: £429.95 That's a £145.96 difference for a drip more speed and 12 more lanes. This, is what it would be used for: Design Work: Such as PS, AE, C4D Video editing such as PP. Heavy rendering, sometimes editing 2-4k footage, which takes forever to render on my i5 Livestreaming on the same PC as my current does. Of course gaming, intended for 1080p I'm leaning toward the 5820 as my GTX980 should be able to speed up rendering in PP at least. If I chose the 5820k, I could add a second GTX980 if I wanted to, but I'm unsure if I will. Of course I'd then be running at 16/8 if I did. I'm just torn and don't want to regret not buying the 5930 down the line, but I still don't see myself ever going 3 or 4 way SLI in the future so.... HELP! *This thread is needed to push me over haha
  9. All of them, really. The only thing I'd ever buy separately is the case, as they're generally fine. I only ever received one damaged case, and it was a destroyed USB port on the front panel. Luckily Cooler Master have great support and shipped me a new front I/O asap
  10. Well! That's me done for the day! I actually enjoyed the forums more than expected, I must try to allocate some time each day for this place! Night all
  11. Purist PC game in terms of power and hey, it's got a great universe lined up, you really have to read the website and watch the videos, I bought my ship a while back, and I can't wait for the day we get the full launch lmao
  12. This is one thing that's hard to explain to some people. I remember my mother buying a £1200-ish PC many years back for my school use and the such. Then when she asked me to sell it, she couldn't accept what I told her she'd get for it. We must have the harshest market for depreciation x'D
  13. Exactly, just pure sickening. I class animal abusers in the same group as rapists and pedos, and for good reason! They all need flogging to death! At least you found the little guy and are doing right by him <3
  14. Awwwwwwww, cute! I despise people who could do such a thing, I mean how hard is it to do the responsible thing and find a new loving family?!
