  1. Update: I think I have finally resolved it. Went to BIOS Q-Fan settings and selected "Manual", adjusted the curve to start at 70% instead of 60%. Now all 3 fans start properly including when waking PC from sleep. Monitoring shows average ~580rpm I guess this can be marked solved.
  2. That's an old model lol Are you using the original install disk (Grey disc)? Yiu may have to remove the hard drive and scan it for bad sectors.
  3. They are 3-pin fans so I have connected correctly just like the Fractal ones. It appears to me that they do not seem to get enough power to get them started. They just "jiggle" back and forth and eventually will start (my guess is it to do with cpu temp). Once they start spinning AI suite app shows them spinning at ~580rpm and switching between silent-standard-full works fine. Bios is at defaults. Update: I just did another test, Fan settings on BIOS are set as: -DC mode -Min speed 400rpm -Sensor: CPU once at Windows login screen all three fans were just "jiggling" back and forth then once logged in to Windows and opened browser, one of the front fans started spinning properly then after awhile the other from fan was fine...the rear one I had to use AI suite to get it going.
  4. Hi all, I just replaced my 3 case fans (stock fractal fans) with 3x new Noctua NF-A14 ULN fans. 1 for rear and 2 front. I am not using the ULN adapters. My MOBO is Asus VIII Gene When computer is started they attempt to spin but either i need to give them a spin with my hand to start them or once computer heated then they start. Ideally I want them to be silent as possible. How can I fix this. My fractal fans GP-14 do not exhibit this issue. Thanks in advance
  5. Thanks for the chance. I have an old Chasis and this looks awesome. Exactly what I have been looking for.
