  1. 1. Yes. You can also adjust the volume should you want to via the controls. 2. No, it will not, cos i tried them and also tried the Razer extender cable, no degradation as far as i am aware of, everything should be fine.
  2. Lol wut, Cloud core is their cheapest headset, usually goes around $50-60. Maybe you saw the Cloud 2?
  3. If you can purchase HS50 then you will be around the range for Cloud Core? That's a better performer than those two. Sades is so bad. Even iphone/samsung headsets are better than them, the only good thing about them is the price, its dirt cheap here, starts from USD 7 lol.
  4. IDK how much these costs there, but usually the first option which is always thrown out by me and others here is SHP9500+vmoda boompro. Or you can go like HD558/559 + modmic/massdrop minimic (idk whether this will be in your budget or not). Closed back option can be something like M40x + modmic/massdrop minimic/lavalier mic
  5. If you want great immersion with superb bass, go for DT770. But if you want a more balanced headphone, go for HD559.
  6. I will go for Cloud Core if you really want the sound quality. But if i have to choose from those two, it will be HS50, although the sound is not great. There are better options out there.
  7. Download the 7.1 surround sound software online? iirc they have for free, razer surround sound for starters? or creative one or dolby digital that comes with windows (from microsoft store). And most new games have good sound engine that posses these surround sound feature so that downloading another one is not really necessary.. If you play CSGO theres the HRTF feature, OW got the dolby one (iirc) and other have their own..
  8. MA750 is a fun IEM if you're willing to have a look. Neutral with more fun tuning around the bass department, good quantity in that department imo.
  9. EDIT: I mis-read it. HD6XX + schiit fulla 2 will be a good option. Or Fostex TH-X00 is also fun (not hard to drive).
  10. CMIIW, Isn't COP similar to DT770? i never used them personally, but heard from people that they are having similarities and a bass slider. Takstar Pro82 can be a good option too yes?
  11. RHA MA750 is a quite good option, around $100 and you can save the rest of the cash for other things, cos i feel being a college student you might want to save up for other stuff, am i right? Its a fun IEM for casual listeners.
  12. SHP9500 + Vmoda boompro, best gaming headset under $100 period. Note: they are open back so sound will leak in and out of the headset.
  13. IIRC its the same thing, get whichever is cheaper, in this case PC37X.. Or you can go with the SHP9500 + vmoda boompro route if its cheaper...
  14. RHA MA750 is a great alternative for SE215 (if you cant get them) or 1more triple driver (for this one i just heard from people its good, but haven't tried them myself).
  15. "Wireless headphone that has a microphone." So basically a headset? I haven't seen these kind of stuff other than gaming headsets and i will not comment on the quality since you know what you will get even after paying lets say $300 or more for them. With that being said, if you want something par with your current setup or better it will be wired most of them time. But i think Bose QC 35 has mic in them, since i never tried it can't say much about it.

IIRC Sennheiser was "the best" for surround? i heard the gsx1000, quite okay imo but the price is a HELL NAW.. Creative got new chips?
  17. Erm.. It has detachable cables which allows you to switch to whatever you please to, in this case vmoda boompro, have you looked into it? And also per my experience, detachable cables makes the durability of the headphones better as suppose the cable breaks/get spoiled, you can just replace them without the need to replace the whole headphone or mod them. Okay, you're entitled to your opinion. But should you want to move towards headphones, i will encourage you to do so, it will be a day and night difference SHP9500 or m40x can be your starters, or when you're outside and pass by a audio shop, just try their demo if you're curious...
  18. OP: SHP9500 (open back) + vmoda boompro and you get yourself a superb gaming headset at $100. Closed back option, you can go for m40x but you need to change the pads in order to get maximum comfort, the stock pads are not the best. I have a good feeling you only tried Stinger (or gaming headsets) as per your review. I don't want to burst your bubble but once you venture to other proper brands, you will realize how bland that thing sounds.
  19. To be honest i really don't know whether its compatible or not in that headphone. I would just stick to SHP9500 if its just for pure gaming.
  20. I'm quite sure you can plug and play without any adapters with sph9500+vmoda boom pro, they end up in 1 cable that can go straight to the controller iirc. And this combo have been out for quite sometime now and loads of console users have and/or are moving to it cos gaming headsets truly suck in general and you're paying for the gaming name rather than quality.
  21. SHP9500 + vmoda boompro, it will be $100-110 +/- (source: amazon usa) Hands down best gaming headset, nothing will come close to that deal imo. BUT do note those are open backs so sound will leak in and out of the headphone.
  22. If you have audio shops nearby, try to find and test the DT770/DT990/Philips X2 before buying, you will find loads of bass there (dt770 has the most bass). Not that hard to drive, unless or until you have a super old mobo like from the 2010 or older (dang i feel old). EDIT: Game ones are not bass oriented as they are open-back (iirc) gaming headsets. DT990/X2 will not satisfy your bass needs then. You can go for DT770 imo, but do try them out before purchasing or listen to the sound demo in youtube so that you get a general idea of the sound signature (is not 100% accurate but gives a brief idea).
  23. Takstar 2000 is quite okay for the price, its damn cheap..
  24. Sound wise GSP, but if you can swing for something like SHP9500 + Vmoda boompro, it will be better than any of those two..
  25. Exactly the same unit with difference in exterior color. G430 comes with an extra USB sound card which is crap imo, not worth it. Get whichever is cheaper should you want to purchase one. If HyperX Cloud core is within your budget, try have a look at that one, its a better headset overall imo.
