I put your specs into a pc partpicker search and came up with this list http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/#W=2100,3400&T=1,8&H=85,240&sort=a11 . The cheapest one is $238.99. I would suggest deciding if you want to lower your specifications or increase your budget.

Instead of attaching the magnet to the screwdriver, try stroking the screwdriver with the magnet a few times. Make all your strokes in the same direction. This has worked for me to temporarily magnetize a screwdriver
