Hey Guys, I'm using the Asrock RGB program to change the colours on my AMD Wraith cooler. I dont know what happened, but only the Red/Green channels seem to be active and any input changes to the Blue colour channel, the colour on the LED remains unchanged. Is this a Mobo issue or the cooler issue?:

Hey LTT community, SO I currently have a Gigabyte windforce x2 OC GTX 1070 in my rig, but the exposed rear PCB just makes my whole build so ugly. Is it possible to buy just a rear backplate for a waterblock and just screw that onto the back without setting up the whole water cooling?

I need help deciding a monitor for my new pc (running a gtx 1070 atm) I will be doing some gaming, photo editing and video editing also. Given my budget, I am having difficulty choosing a monitor suitable for my use. I could go either 1080p curved ultrawide v 1440p ultrawide, not-curved; both around 32~34" size Can someone help me out please and is 1080p @ 34" that bad??

But to the price difference between the 7th gen and 8th gene model for the XPS 13; is it worth the increase? Because everything besides the processor is pretty much the same.

So wht do you guys think about the new dell xps13 with 8th gen chips? i could get a 7th gen xps with the 4k and gtx 1050 at a similar price but im trying to see whether the new 8th gen xps 13 are worth it, what are some alternatives to the xps 13..

I can confidently say that I am truly sick of 16:9 ratio and want to join the 21:9 squad. So a bit of an update here: 1)USB 3.0 Port was used 2)all the USB sticks i had were useless so here's what I did: -Found an SSD lying around --> diskpart --> assign volume and use rufus to install ISO into a bootable drive -used this SSD as a media installation tool and booted windows on the new rig - used CMD to clean the original SSD on the new rig 3)Currently installing at the moment... fingers crossed

So i built the following system: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 16gb ram 3000 (2x8) m.2 NVMe SSD Intel 256GB (cant remmeber) Nvidia gtx 1070 AsRock ab350 pro 4 mobo SO i used the microsoft windows media installation creator (whatever you call it) and made a USB install media for windows 10 One of two things happen: 1) Error message about some network error 0x80070006 2)and this 0x8007025D So I made a new boot media using a different USB stick - still no luck can someone please help me out.. I still havent been able to use this machine for ANYTHING

So Im thinking of getting this case for my build, but one thing bothers me is the RGB lighting - I find it to be way too flamboyant. Is there a way to turn the RGB lighting off on those fans?

is ther a reason why you went with the ryzen over coffee lake?

With the RAM, is there a noticeable difference between 2133 and maybe a 2400?? Yes and you're right ASRock Motherboards are a breeze to work with and have never failed me ANd also how hot would the Ryzen chips run?
