@Bouzoo maybe make an edit again.
Q6. What other platforms will Kojima’s first independent title be available on, besides PS4?
The title is planned to become available on PC (after PS4).
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, Pc sales didn't exactly blow the doors off other Platforms with MGSV, just like with witcher 3. Playstation is the most profitable single platform. And Sony is helping support the studio. I'm glad to see this is going to be a timed exclusive, but I will definitely be picking this up on original release and later on PC

    Source Link (PC World): http://www.pcworld.com/article/3014183/data-center-cloud/microsoft-will-let-you-keep-your-free-15gb-of-onedrive-storage-if-you-claim-it.html
Claim back your OneDrive storage link: https://preview.onedrive.com/bonus/

So recently Microsoft announced that they'd be slashing OneDrive storage for the general public and this caused outcry because users were left with a measly 5GB (starting next year). In a report from PC World there is a way to claim back your storage.. but there's a catch!

"Microsoft has grudgingly agreed to let current OneDrive users keep their 15GB of free cloud storage and 15GB of free Camera Roll “bonus” storage, rather than dropping you to 5GB as previously stated" - M Hachman

The article states that "there’s a small catch: by selecting the offer, you agree “to receive promotional emails from OneDrive,” ". But in order to combat this you can simply unsubscribe to the mailing services or use the Outlook 'Sweep' tool to permanently block the emails.

I think Microsoft is doing this in some part because some of the OneDrive users they had would consider transferring their files to the Google Drive therefore allowing Google to expand their cloud base even further.

I'm an aussie. My opinion is that if you pull a knife then you deserve anything that happens to you. I've been in two knife fights in my life (mispent youth) both scared the absolute shiezer out of me, and at the end I was the last man standing. I didn't bring a knife to either fight.

If you're going to carry a knife, my advice would be to make sure it's weighted to be thrown. The only time you want to draw a weapon is to end a fight, and hitting someone somewhere vital before they can close the distance, or do whatever they were going to do ends the fight IMO. Threatening someone with a knife is worthless, because then you have to back up your threat.

Then don't turn them on?  What's your deal with OPTIONAL settings?  Isn't this why you game on the PC?  To have choices?  JC3 runs perfectly fine on every nvidia GPU I see reported.  Once upon a time, everything ever ran like junk until hardware caught up.  SSAA? MSAA? SSAO? Hi-res soft shadows?  These STILL cause massive drops in performance, but hardware has improved over the generations to be able to run these pretty easily nowadays.

I dont have to enable smoke on Batman, but I will everytime.
I don't have to enable hairworks, and I don't, even though it runs fine with it on.

PCI SSD's will become the new lightning fast storage someone gets while the regular SSD will replace the HDD in builds. I like where this is going. Can't wait to see what'll come after the PCI SSD.

MercianUK reacted to Trik'Stari in Tax Rebellion in the UK.
So, this might not seem technology related at first, but it is. Mainly because it stands to primarily effect some of the largest corporations with operations in the UK. Namely companies like Google, Amazon, and Facebook.

So basically, a group of small businesses in the Welsh city of Crickhowell have decided to ban together, and use all of the tactics used by giant corporations, to avoid paying taxes. Not because they don't want to pay taxes, but because they want to draw attention to the fact that some of them pay more in taxes than some billion dollar a year corporations. Specifically, they want these giant corporations to pay taxes like everyone else has to.

To me, it seems completely fair for these people to do what gigantic corporations do. So long as it draws attention to the fact that things like this can happen.

As an American, I also enjoy the irony of the idea of a "tax rebellion in the UK". But seriously, I applaud these business owners. They're putting their governments back against the wall. If the government tries to stop them, it's an obvious move to protect their corporate masters, and if they break down and actually tax these companies making ridiculous amounts of profit, then they lose all their delicious corporate funding.

    I love this story.

MercianUK reacted to GoodBytes in Firefox Private Mode gets agressively more private
Please read the article. Chrome does not have this.
Chrome has FULL tracking on you, even under incognito mode (links with your Google account. Google knows everything), and only the only thing it does is delete cookies, delete any local storage at the end of the session, and doesn't put the site in your history.

If you a user that has the most care for your privacy, you are probably using Firefox already.
You'll also be please to hear that Mozilla has been improving its Private mode.

Recently released the new Private mode features Tracking Protection, where it detects parts of the page that can be used to track you, and disables it. Now, Mozilla announces further anti-tracking measures.

Firefox Private mode (with Tracking Protection enabled (on by default)), will block any script that could be used to identify a user, including ads, analytic trackers, and removed social network buttons, like the Facebook Like buttons.

Previously, and like Chrome Incognito mode, it only managed locally stored content, and deleted cookies at the end of the session. It allowed any tracking scripts, ads, and so on to run. Now, Firefox goes full in providing that privacy.

Mozilla's VP Nick Nguyen says, that because Firefox now blocks everything in Private Mode, you'll notice that you'll surf the web faster under the mode compared to have nothing being blocked.

That's not the point. The point is that you give the government an instrument that allowes them to go through peoples privat stuff without a warrant.
That systemt can then be used for all kinds of purposes.
Should we really allow the government to know who has searched for ´UK Labour Party´? Personally, I don't trust the government with that kind of information.
And I know I'm already sharing my search history with Google, but Google doesn't have the power to imprison me.

    No, he has not.
Just becuase a person does bad things, it doesn't legitimize people treating him bad. Mosaic law was luckily left in the Old Testament.
Inhuman behaviour doesn't warrant inhuman behaviour.

Also, searching through any person's stuff without a warrant is deeming them guilty before a judicial judgment is made.
That is not a power that the police nor the government should have. That power should belong to the courts.

GCHQ are already monitoring our traffic on a global scale; I'm sure MI5 has access to that information for counter-terrorism purposes, I don't see why the regular police should have any power to violate the privacy of civilians without a warrant. The internet-related legislation that's coming through under the Tories is fucking terrifying, especially given that it seems to be coming from laymen who don't understand what they're dealing with. I couldn't believe it when Cameron proposed we outsource internet monitoring/censorship to China.

I don't support the government illegally spying on its citizens but if it's only being used legitimately to stop genuine terror threats I can live with that -- the concern being the potential for abuse. Giving the police the power to instantly see where someone has been (browser-based navigation services), who their friends are, who they speak to and what they choose to do in their leisure time without due cause is totally unjustifiable. If you wanted to assign units to do that sort of reconnaissance in person you'd need a warrant and some serious cause for concern to justify the cost & invasion of privacy; just because it can be done instantly, for free, by forcefully checking a device rather than spying in person doesn't lessen the social implications -- all the more reason why they warrant more respect & consideration now the financial element has been removed.

I think my privacy is worth a lot and that the police shouldn't be allowed to view my internet history, but that remark is just silly. If the NSA stopped some kind of plot why would they tell anyone that? That would only warn terrorists to not use certain things.
