  1. Just to let everyone know i reinstalled windows on my PC and am now having no issues at all. The temperatures have not been an issue at all.
  2. Runing 2X8Gb ram sticks in dual channel GPU utilisation according to MSI Afterburner all matches with the previous PC I am using CPUID HW pro to watch the temperatures and the CPU was the hottest, motherboard temps didn't anywhere near too high
  3. I have run both cinebench and unigine heaven 4.0 independently, the GPU got a score of 653 on high setting 1080p, which is expected. the CPU in cinebench for 10 mins did not excede 86C and got a score of 5768 which is close to the average of 6000ish, I would say that means it's not having thermal issues. any other ideas?
  4. Vsync is turned off, i will look into better cooling but i should say that most of the time while trying to play games the CPU is at like 70C maybe 80C at a push, 90C was just the max that my software said over the 30 mins i had it open
  5. it hit 90C in a game with about 20 chrome tabs in the background trying to figure out why, this is also with a $30 air cooler with 1 fan in a room that is 30C because it 40C outside
  6. The SSD has a fresh windows 10 install on it, the HDD is purely for storage and has nothing changed from the old PC. sorry max temp on the CPU is 90 when stressing it, normally like 40 at idle
  7. I recently bought some parts off a friend and upgraded my pc but ever since then it has been lagging in every game I try, see specs/FPS below. New PC specs: CPU i7 7700k Mobo: Gigabyte z270 HD3 Ram HyperX DDR4 2133MHz 16GB GPU GTX 660 from previous build SSD 256GB M.2 SATA (taken from a dell laptop) HDD from previous build PSU BeQuiet 550W (or more can't remember) Old PC specs: CPU i7 3770 Mobo Dell prebuilt Ram DDR3 8gb Dell prebuilt GPU gtx 660 SSD 128GB Sandisk SATA 2.5" HDD 2TB Seagate PSU Dell prebuilt FPS before/after Minecraft 150/40 GTA Online 65/24 Haven't bothered trying any other games yet Temps on the GPU haven't got over 75 and the CPU 90 Have also tried different drivers from 2017, 2018 and current Any help would be great as i am lost

  13. Hi I have been having major issues with my computer ever since we uninstalled F-secure, there has always been excess F-secure running in the back ground and taking up all of the disk read and write speed, we are also having issues were we couldn't launch google chrome as it would just give us an error saying that it cancelled the operation because it took to long. Lately we have been getting bigger issues as we cannot launch the task manager through anyway that I know. we have run our virus checker and come up with nothing, we are now backing everything up but I need to know if anyone has had this problem or if anyone knows how we can remove the F-secure stuff from our computer. We have some registry editors that we want to use to remove all files from F-secure that are in the registry but we have got issues with the admin account as we are on Windows 10 and would like to know how we can get acces to admin features as we have tried going through the command prompter to set the current account to admin. if you have any ideas of what we can do please let me know asap as we need this computer for all of our work at home.
