    IS AWESOME lol.

I've been an avid OCN member for years and years now. And that community is pretty good, but sometimes it's hit or miss.
I'll post a question or problem I'm having, and most of the time.. I get 1-2 posts in a whole week.

But when I came to Linus Tech Tips forum...
When I posted my first post, I received over 10 replies within the first hour alone.
Everyone here is happy to help, share, and recommend. And I love it.
I've not run into a single disrespectful or immature person (which is sooo rare on forums)
    and I can't believe it.

I just wanted to say Hi and how much I enjoy being apart of this community.
Keep up the great work guys. We'll make the LTT forum the best tech community on the net!

    =)

I recently got a Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 and can certainly recommend it. It looks pretty good imo and works very well for the money (dropped my idle and max temps by 20C compared to stock).

Kalcedon got a reaction from Cosmos_i7 in Is running a CPU above 55 degrees considered overheating?
Let's see what the official Desktop 3rd Gen Intel® Core™ Processor Family: Datasheet, Vol. 1 has to say about thermal protection:
You can find it on page 71. Obviously most motherboards will never let the CPU get to 130.Now for the "Desktop 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor Family and LGA1155 Socket Thermal Mechanical Specifications and Design Guidelines"
Section 8 of the document seems to suggest. That running under 100 °C is totally fine. Anyways, 55 is certainly not a dangerously hot temperature for your CPU :)
