  1. Going straight through the MoCa I get around 400-500mbps so that is slowing to down but best way for me to get it upstairs. since when I tried using the Wifi from the AT&T box upstairs I was only getting around 25mbps, same with orbi. Yeah the Coax is RG6, Im not 100% sure if there are any splitters, I don't believe so since there are only 2 coax cables coming up in the basement and I know where both of them go. The AT&T box is setup for pass thru
  2. Right now I have the AT&T modem connected to the MoCa 2.5 via ethernet cable, then the MoCa 2.5 is connected to a coax cable coming up to the second story thru the wall plugged into a another MoCa 2.5 to convert to back into the ethernet, that ethernet cable is then plugged into the Orbi Router. I have two Orbi satellites on the first story to help wifi down there.
  3. MoCa 2.5 https://www.amazon.com/Hitron-Ethernet-existing-Backbone-Streaming/dp/B08MQG6T61/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=Ethernet+Coax&qid=1644632499&sr=8-4 This is what I tried using but seems to be capped at 100mbps Im on firmware V2.7.3.22 the speed was similar my last internet was 100mbps so still the same on that front.
  4. Hello All, I am currently trying to upgrade my router, I just got fiber from AT&T but it is unfortunately located in my basement while basically all usage is on the second floor. I currently have orbi's mesh system but that isn't doing the job I am maxing out around 50mbps which that, I have tried using coax to ethernet module, but that is maxing out at 80-100mbps. If I am directly plugged into the AT&T modem/router I get ~900mbps and wifi in the basement I get ~600-700 depending on where. Any suggestions or advice on how to make my internet better.
  5. Yes under load still gets to 90C but even if Im just on chrome and thats the only application open it will randomly spike to 70C every so often
  6. Hello, I recently upgraded to a 5800x with a Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS motherboard. I initially had a MSI MAG Series 240 AIO but the CPU was getting to 80-90C, I thought it was because the pump sounded like it was cavitating but I switched to a Corsair H110i tonight and still having the same problem, it will randomly spike to 70C just while having chrome open. Any suggestions on fixing this? I know this CPU generally gets hot but would like it to be a little better as its stressed 8-10 hours a day for work
  7. Oh shit I’m stupid well guess I’ll order that next I took “Hybrid” as active but it’s not my bad
  8. I just took it apart to take pictures and I found out the problem, one of the screws they sent me was about 1mm to long leading to it not having contact on the one side, I cut that screw down so the core and hotspot temps are great now and can actually play games but the only other thing im running into now is the "active" backplate doesn't seem to be doing anything the backplate is getting to hot to touch still (95-100C), so I probably will have to see if I can ghetto something up for that any suggestions on that part?
  9. Yeah, everything looked like it was making contact
  10. I just put together my custom loop, Everything is fine but my GPU is overheating worse than the factory cooler now. I have a 3090 FE so I got the EK-Quantum Vector-FE (https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-vector-fe-rtx-3090-d-rgb-black-special-edition) Before with the stock FE cooler I was getting 100ish memory temp and core and hot spot were around 70C but now after a few seconds of any game My temps jump up to Core: 75C Memory: 110C Hot Spot: 103C Any advice on fixing this? I've taken it apart and have made sure all the thermal pads are in the correct spots and reapplied the thermal paste. Ive tried my pump at 100% changes nothing, my cpu under a stress test stays around 55C
  11. Unfortunately I already bought most of it, it’s a cluster of random things sooo if I forgot something I may be interested. Thanks for the advice
  12. Nice I’ll get to ordering those then if it works, is milling out the bottom of the case for 2 120/140mm fans even worth it then? In your opinion
  13. That’s fair, I’ll look into that and see where everything would position. What should I use the bottoms fans as then, because I took out the hard drive cages there and plan on adding fan slots there
  14. Ahhh, I was thinking I would still need it, but makes sense thank you I ordered some of it last night. I went for mostly what you said just changed up to ek tubing and res since it didn’t come with a pump Yeah I’ve thought about adding two 140mm fans on the bottom of the case with a little bit of modding to help with intake. Can you really fit a 360 and 280 if I move those fans? I was planning on a slim 360 and a thicker 240 on top
  15. Yeah I was looking at the corsair custom loop configurator, they had it at a decent price but firstly was hard line which I dont know if I trust myself yet, and I thought their 3090 water block did not have an active backplate therefore not fixing the problem? unless im wrong
