  9. So i Finally received a new mobo, Thanks to Overclockers UK for a good RMA experience Here are some shot of what it looks like at the moment, next month i will buy some of the watercooling gear. The new motherboard, which works Mobo and CPU The CPU is so small, i thought about going x99, but i wanted the thermal amor, so i can paint it white. Uhh The build, with the boring type of cooling. I made a little time lapse of the build proses, check it out here. http://youtu.be/7UomepLs76c The time lapse consist of 1800 pictures all taken with a gopro. and man was it annoying to make and edit i movie maker, which could not handle it at all.
  10. I have just added you This is a cool way to get instant updates on build logs and such
  11. So i lied, the next update is coming now New cables from cablemod. This is going to be a nice addition as soon as i get the new Mobo The reason i did not do this my self, is time, i´m both studying 40 hours a week and working 15 hours a week. plus i have other hobbies that i want to put more time in. The overall quality of the cables are fine, there are small imperfections, but that is something i am willing to over look.
  12. I guess that is i good reason to like the Keyboard i found the cooler name for you, https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-003-BQ
  13. I guess i like your style as well then I hate that the keyboard don´t have a standalone numpad, having to press that mumpad lock all the time. The cooler is a Be quiet something, i just bought it so i did not have to use intel´s stock cooler, and i wanted something where you can see the fan spin from the outside of the case. Thanks
  14. Yes it is, thats why i will take some inspiration from it. and it is a titanfall theme, mine will not be though. i have never played titanfall. my build either have to be black and white or white and light blue/blue. i can´t really decide. My previous build was also black and white so i maybe have to try something different. my previous build. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/65169-apollo-refreshed-black-and-white-themed-watercooled-rig/
  15. well thank you, but it going to be way better. i will take inspiration in this build. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=273819 That is also the only reason why i chose it, defiantly not for its features.
  16. Poor lighting conditions in my room at night, the black is the back of the mobo though. I don´t think so but if you contact Parvum they can make one for you, they can cut anything. as you see here they have made one http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=263319
  17. So i have decided to build a new system. This one is going to be a little more custom and a little more better than the previous I will stick to black and white i think, can´t make my mind up if it has to be black and white or white and light blue, only time will tell. The plan is to build a rig with a I7 4790K, GTX 980 with custom rigid acrylic tubes, bitspower fittings and so on. The case is going to be a Parvum s2.0. Parts already bought Intel I7 4790K Asus Gryphon Z97 GTX 980 16gb hyper x fury 1866mhz ram EVGA supernova g2 750W psu Samsung 840 evo 500GB SSD WD black 3TB HDD Be quiet air cooler (only temporarily) Parvum s2.0 in black and white Noiseblocker e- loop fans 120mm Be quiet silent wings 80mm Cable mod black and white for EVGA G2 I can always change the colour of the case with an accent kit. Updates Update1: Cablemod cables. Update2: Build is put together waiting for watercooling. so far i have received the parts listed above Super happy me i can finally get started building. all the parts I have never ordered this much hardware on once before. Let the building begin Progression Through the magic of taking pictures the case is finished I must say that the fit of this case is not spot on, some places it could have been a bit better and there is missing some 6mm screws in the box, but over all it is a "ok" case and all the small imperfections is something i´m willing to over look. So after assembly of the case i went on but soon discovered a problem. The heatsinks backplate would not fit on the Gryphon board because it has its own back plate. So the heatsinks backplate had to be cut to size. Using the same kind of magic as above i can skip to the fully assembled system In the place it is going to stand until i have ordered and received the watercooling gear or so i thought, as you can see on the picture the PC have booted and i am in the bios, further more i got the OS installed, but then the computer just went out (as pulling the plug) and the SB_PWR light turned green. I tried all i could the make i wake up again but none of my magic worked so for now i have to use my test bench with the new hardware on but with a different motherboard. so this i how my desk have to look until i get the board RMA´ed Next update will be when i have been through the RMA with overclockers.co.uk (hopefully soon) btw i have ordered a Cablemod sleeved cable kit in black and white
  18. hello So i have put together my new system and it booted up all good, so i went on to install the OS it went as a charm as well. but suddenly the PC Shut down no notice or anything (like pulling the plug) The pc is now totally dead. Specs 4790K asus gryphon Z97 GTX 980 16gb of hyper x fury ram 500gb ssd 3tb Wd black EVGA supernova 750W I have now taken the motherboard out of the case and put it on the mobo box. the SB_PWR light is still on. i have tried to switch ram modules. I have tried a different PSU. I have tried taking out the GTX 980. I have re seated the CPU I have tried to boot with only cpu I have tried with no ram The SB_PWR is still on, i have no idea of what it can be, is the board dead?
  19. you don´t, but i just don´t feel like going with a 850 and that is my only reason why.
  20. i do not have a big enough set of balls to go 3d it will be all black and white
