And why would Google/Youtube ask you to delete the account yourself when they can literally do that directly since they are the people who provide this service? You have to really be monumentally stupid to do it yourself. My first question would be WHY?! and after that "If I'm in any violation, then do it yourself lol, you are the service provider and you have the control". People really are naive.

Your misleading thread title doesn’t match your citation.

This isn’t how business works. Apple is a publicly traded company. Publicly traded companies have an obligation to shareholders to make as much money as possible.

Pulling out of markets because of morality goes against their obligations and would result in lawsuits from shareholders.

No, a transaction is see instantly and can be validated at the same time. it is confirmed by the whole network after its in 1 block (10 min) and the community usually deems it as solid after 3-6 blocks deep (30-60 min)

so for a normal store purchases its seen as instant and any big ones it be 1 hour.

and more often than not, most of the cables that DO list the speed are only USB 2.0, which makes them useless for everything but charging.

The Benjamins reacted to porina in Rumour: AMD no longer launching Zen 3+ or any refreshed Ryzen CPUs in 2021
This is one of the more annoying parts in the community, where rumours are treated as facts and outrage expressed when a product that doesn't exist gets changed in some way. To best of my knowledge, AMD has never referenced Zen 3+ existing.

It is a big question. They have the potential to put it on AM4 by having different IOD versions to the same chiplets, but as I speculated in another thread, they might have to do something different with Infinity Fabric to cope with the higher possible ram bandwidth otherwise the ram increases would be pointless. I hadn't considered backward compatibility in that sense. If an AM4 version were to exist, I don't think I'd want a crippled version like that.

The Benjamins reacted to leadeater in Rumour: AMD no longer launching Zen 3+ or any refreshed Ryzen CPUs in 2021
All this also assuming Zen3+ really was planned and actually was intended to be a product cycle. Nothing quite like rumors saying Zen3+ is going to be a thing, which is of course a rumor, then another rumor saying previous rumor might be cancelled implying that it was actually confirmed to be a thing in the first place 😉

Remember Zen3+ has never been on any product roadmaps, Zen4 has.

The Benjamins got a reaction from starry in Grandma out $1400 after grandson racks up playstation in game purchases.
I dont think you should expect a 13yo to fully understand the value of money. since they are typically not working for there money its hard for people to relate to the impact of a number. They should know its bad to spend a lot of money but for the kid they can't really understand the impact of $1000 lost if they haven't worked for it or have responsibilities to pay for, also they would be falling into the trap of the "its only $20 here and there".

The Benjamins got a reaction from Dr_Whom in Grandma out $1400 after grandson racks up playstation in game purchases.
how many 13yo have real world use of money at that age. they might get some from chores or allowance, but with out exposure to major responsibilities it would be hard to tie a real value to money like $100. Most kids dont have to worry about buying food or shelter and are shielded from the responsibilities by there parents. Kids dont really get exposed to the real value of money until they start there first job and have there first payments (like a car). So some might start to learn at 16-18yo.

but also about the $1400 the kid didnt do it in one shot. I bet it was $20-50 increments with losing count of how many times. I bet the kid might of thought he spent a few hundred not $1400. game companies already use confusing tactics on adults to get them to spend more then they would normally. as a example League of Legends is associates the $ amount to the in game currency (RP) with a confusing ratio, so in the store front you cant quickly see the $ value of what you are buying.

what do you mean "from the start" like at 1yo?

I do agree parents should teach there child about money but its never going to fully get grasped unless the kid gets exposed to earning and spending on there own which is not typical until after 16yo (first job age)

The Benjamins reacted to rand_althor_cometh in HUB concludes that if you have a lower end CPU a Radeon GPU may be a better choice (if you can find one 😆)
This is a bigger deal than people in this thread are making it out to be. For budget minded gamers looking for an easy upgrade, the default reccomendation has been to get a better gpu for now until you upgrade CPU + mobo later. Not all of us have \<3 year old CPUs. Many of us have 4-5 year old CPUs that we want to push for a bit longer.

If you're in such a scenario, then buying an NVIDIA card could cause a regression in your performance. Imagine spending $500 for a "cheap" upgrade and getting worse performance (assuming you were on AMD). And even if you were on NVIDIA, then you don't get the upgrade that you should be getting.

I'm gonna test this out of with i5 6500 + 1070. I just bought a 6800xt and I'm trying to source a 3080 as well (I need 2 builds). But I will test a CPU limited game on my 1070 and a cpu limited game on my 6800xt. See if I can get a significant improvement of 20-30% just by going with AMD.

Edit: Also thanks to those of you talking about completely unrelated opinions of who has better Linux drivers for derailing the crap out of this thread. A+.

The Benjamins reacted to Tamius Han in Dell introduces "5K" 4K Ultrawide Monitor
Actually, that's exactly how it works. It's not called 4K because it's 2160px tall, it's called 4K because it's about 4000 pixels wide, give or take (but mostly take) a few pixels — and 3840 is kinda 4000 if you squint a little and start rounding.
Tangentially related rant, while we're talking what resolutions should and shouldn't be called: 2560x1440p is not 2k. Period. The appropriate term for that is QHD. But that's off-topic.

Calling it "5K ultrawide" would also be more in line with how 5120x2160 displays are currently advertised, as LG and MSI have both use similar terms ("5K2K" is close enough to "5K ultrawide").

QNAP Releases new 2.5GbE + 10GbE Switches to the QSW Line, the QSW-M2108-2C($249) and QSW-M2108-2S ($299). This should be a nice entry for people looking for a 2.5GbE and 10GbE switch for there home. These are added to the other cost effective 1GbE + 10GbE switches part of the past line up. Some past examples are the QSW-308-1C ($139) (308 line) unmanaged switch with 8 1GbE & 2 SFP+ & 1 10GbE Combo port (RJ45/SFP+) and the QSW-M408-4C ($299) (408 line) managed switch with 8 1GbE 4 10GbE Combo port (RJ45/SFP+) (both lines with a few port configuration options)
