  1. Found the solution Windows was not shutting down completely; it was just hibernating. I disabled fast boot, cleared the cache and restarted. Now everything is fine
  2. I got myself a x58 board and a xeon x5650. Tried different overclocks from 140 to 200 mhz base clock. (Multiplier is 20, therefore 2,8 to 4 ghz) No problems so far; the system seems stable. Every-time I run cinebench I get the same result of around 600 cb. It is visually faster and completes in less time. But somehow the windows clock is running faster. Everything that uses the windows time is affected by this (so displayed fps in games drop to, whilst the game is running smooth) Btw. the clock in the BIOS runs at normal speed. Any help is appreciated
