WoL is a beast I have tangled with for a long long time.... from not having it working at all, to looking at my mouse causing a wake for some reason. As far as I know your best bet is to look at your computer's "Power Plan" and internet adapters to see if they are allowing the feature. also, save yourself some grief and make sure it's hibernating and not sleeping, because sleep will always use power and drain your battery, hibernation is a full off state with a reminder of what it was like in it's last boot.. If you're still having trouble I'd love to help you snoop around for the fix (if it's possible)

Because I don't have much experience with speakers, I have no idea what a realistic budget is. Because I use my headphones quite a lot, they don't need to be what I can only describe as " the bees knees" right now.... (Why is my brain weird)....

Hey guys, I've been looking to replace my very old 2.1 desktop speakers due to the sub slowly giving out and because I want some features I am missing now. Budget is TBD because I have NO IDEA. Firstly, 2.1 is fine, I'd like easy volume control, but don't mind using keyboard Fn keys to do that if need be.. the main thing I want is to be able to also power my headphones off an aditional output. Headphones are a 250 Ohm Beyerdynamic DT 990Pro. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, So here's the deal. I fell into the lead position of the IT people at my student union (Living in the Netherlands. I could explain if you wanted to know). Anywho.... Our network is seriously dilapidated. We have wires going everywhere through a building so old I can't actually get to them because it's literally a monument. as far as I remember it's all connected to our custom linux server through an old (like 1980s OLD) HP 'SmartPatch' If I recall correctly. Here's where you come in, I need advice. and some serious advice at that. The Smart Patch is dying, the fans in it broke years ago and I am not sure it'll survive the summer. I need to know if any of you know what kind of gear would be best suited for the kind of stuff I am using. If I should keep the cables I have (Some of them go to parts of the building I can't get to anymore), Or if I should just find out what cables I still use and patch those back into a new system all together. I really don't know what's the best approach. I'd be happy to get more details for you guys if anyone is serious about helping me out. Thanks guys!

This Projector is exactly what we need at my student union. I might look into buying one if it's in our budget.
